UAE has 4 stage wins now and sit 3rd on GC. Not to mention they managed to get rid of Ayuso.
Win-win-win

Another one suffering from PTSD on 2020 PDBF
Yeah, only took Kuss a month to pull that shiv out after the 2023 Vuelta. For me that one was resolved once Rogla became part of a winning team by doing his part.

But had with VingegaardThat had nothing to do with Pogi he wasn't even there.
Better ask @Libertine Seguros !Interesting high plateau landscape. Anyone done any XC skiing there?
UAE prioritizing stage wins over GC...
But had with Vingegaard
The full blue dots skinsuit makes me think "clown" whenever I see itJay Vine the clownster.
They prioritize stage wins over attempting to get the red jersey with Almeida. How?
Almeida isn't really beating Vingegaard. Might as well get 1426 stage wins..
Again, they're in 3rd on GC. They have 4 stage wins. They have the polka dot jersey. What exactly are they doing wrong again? Most teams would kill to be in this situation. They prioritize stage wins over attempting to get the red jersey with Almeida.
It's a good strategy, realistically. But I would prefer to see Jonas' top challenger going all in, all out, all guns blazing, rather than semi capitulating.Again, they're in 3rd on GC. I don't see that Almeida is capitulating, but I guess you could surmise that about UAE overall strategy. It's a good strategy, realistically. But I would prefer to see Jonas' top challenger going all in, all out, all guns blazing, rather than semi capitulating.
Don't know about skiing but the terrain is pretty stunningInteresting high plateau landscape. Anyone done any XC skiing there?
In the end he just smashed it. It wasn't that tactical after all.Nice to see Vine win by not just smashing it, but handling the tactical situation perfectly.
I'm more used to "typical Vuelta" being a GT with more short real murito climbs and not so many of these tempo MTFs?In the end he just smashed it. It wasn't that tactical after all.
These climbs are so boring, typical Vuelta stuff. Road to an "estacion de esqui" = long wide highway with zero incentive for meaningful attacks. Vingegaard decided to go a little crazy on Sunday, just because he felt like it, but in principle it's pointless to attack on climbs like these.
