Great win by Giulio. RBH very active preparing the terrain for the ultimate climb. Pidcock looks stronger than i thought he would be, was expecting for him to crack in such scenario as seen today so kudos to handling it well. Jonas seems to be just hanging on and following, doesn't seem that he could have made any big difference even if he tried. Almeida mostly left on his own, a bit shameful considering his team won half of the stages. Cyclists deciding to imminently neutralise the race in case of a incident is something to support. We all realised that UCI won't do anything in regards to their safety and in regards to de-escalate tensions, hence acting on their own, foremost protecting their safety, that is the most sensible thing to do.

Honestly. It should be exciting, having Almeida and Vingegaard only 50 seconds apart in the final week. Even Pidders isn't that far back, and he's got Hindley breathing down his neck for third. But the opportunities for anyone to actually do anything just keep disappearing. Even Pidcock can't scupper his podium chances on 12 kilometres.

Lets not forget that in case of any incident riders will likely call for neutralisation and to move on anyway. So i guess organiser at least tried and did what is in their power and shortened the TT but riders will have the ultimate authority on when it comes to decision regarding their safety. Other parties are not really relevant here any more.
