Huge crowds... Good decision that they shortened it. It would have been bad..

Barring a spectacular collapse, 12.2k of TT and a 3.3k garage ramp are not enough to lose 50 seconds. Vingegaard's odds of winning the GC are like 95% now.
Whilst I generally agreed with you in thinking that GC is nearly bagged for Vingegaard, there's more than a 5% chance for Almeida to get it. If he has good legs he can take 10 seconds or a bit more on Vingegaard - especially if he's slightly ill. Almeida could be looking at needing 20-30 seconds + bonus on Bola del Mondo which is within the realms of possible. Unlike, but entirely possible.

Not sure how many more TTs and pursuits Ganna needs to do before people realise his pacing strategy is always doing monster negative splits.

Pedersen should be really good at this if he has good legs, which wasn't the case the last 2 days apparently.

Doubt anyone goes under that. Hard to be sure, but looks like a very strong time.
Yeah, it's a faster average speed than his Tirenno ITT over a slightly longer course. I'm surprised he pulled this time out given how bad he's looked for the rest of the race

Flat TT. Go 50kph average on T1, and go 63kph between T2 and T3.

Makes perfect sense.
