40 seconds time bonus, 20 seconds "made for Rodriguez" finishes. Thank god there's only one of those left now.

Why dont you like Purito lucky? Hes one of those characters that loves the sport, goes 100% in every race, and is well overdue a major victory.

Whats not to like?

I agree. What's with the Purito hate?
It could be that his win is too predictable.. could be..., but it's the same with Gilbert.

I have no idea if these kind of finishes suit Kruijswijk though or if he's in really good form either.
I do know that Mollema is kinda punchy so these finishes should suit him, but he isn't Purito :)

It was an impressive ride from mollema. Kruijswijk was never placed well.. I guess he didn't feel good.

I think the Belgians will be more inclined to post about that b*stard TGBM ;)

He's starting to look better and better. But of course it's still complete chauvinism to consider him more of a favourite for top-10 than, say, Dan Martin...

Anyone got news on Garmin's appeal on Dan Martin's 40 second penalty for draughting?

Is it Rodriguez fault that the man whose arse he was seeing most often in April decided not to come?

Well I guess BMC listened to the forum and timmy love rabo, and got the rider with the most wins to solve the problem:D

I just like other riders more and really dislike Katusha. Also dislike bonus seconds.

True that. It's not likely we will be saying the same about BMC next year ;)

Turning yourself in the Chelsea of cycling hardly improves matters however.

Then what do you suggest BMC do with the problem that timmy love rabo is mentioning?

I'll get back to you after the TT.

Maybe I'll be even more upset then. ;)

Nick Roche wrote in the Independent today that he was talking with Danny Boy who was pretty p***ed off that the appeal failed. Seems like the judges adhere to the rules when they want to as pretty much everyone does it fairly openly.

A bit out of point, but are you aussie or a dutch immigrant. I find it a bit weird for an aussie to cheer for rabo and all the other dutch riders and do not support cadel at all.

Cadal is a chump tho.

I'm of dutch background etc. I don't mind aussies, but living here I get a little overwhelmed with the aussie support, so as a result I guess I have supported the dutch, probably more of a reason was my family influence regarding dutch support growing up.

I like to australia do well, but the dutch have my support to be honest. Just the way I feel.

The Katusha engine looked pretty strong today. At least Cofidis and Poels tried to upset their train (not sure why Poels attacked though). Nice to see Taraamae up at the front near the end and not realizing he'd burned everyone off his wheel. JRo just rode away from everyone on the steep bit though. There's no-one to touch him in this field on such a finish, but the next stage may well be different and then there's the TT.
