I personally think that even at 85%, Landa can still beat non-winners (sorry to my Dutch friends) like Gesink and Mollema.

Watching Gesink being dropped like a stone by Navarro yesterday was shocking. Navarro ain't half bad, but someone like Robert shouldn't be left in the dust by him.

There is a reason why the other top riders never react when Gesink attacks. They know it ain't gonna last.

It's his only chance, however, since he can't handle the constant accelerations from Contador and co. Gesink along Mollema and the more successful Rui Costa will always be the best of the rest. They are all gonna finish between 5th and 10th.

Gesinks own DS said afterward that his numbers weren't better than during the previous Vuelta. They'd expected to get 12th or thereabouts.

Good thing is that you have a lot of riders who tend to be better in the rain: Contador, Quintana, Purito, Costa, Pinot.

Is there even any riders who really dislike the rain? Aru?

It should be, the change is 50km before the end
