Henao much stronger

Much stronger? Not really

I saw Haeno get the jump on penultimate climb and Contador brought him back.

Exactly

Were you expecting Henao to go solo from 14k out? It was notorious that he slowed down.

Catching up Contador's last attack coming from midway into the group was impressive.

Nice race. Alberto was pretty strong but he did the right thing not to force the chase after the steep climb. In GT situation, Contador and Quintana could have leveraged this much better.

Yes he was.

Then why did Contador bring back Henao over the top of Aia? And why didnt Henao counter Contador on the last small hill? Henao is probably the most explosive climber in the peloton and he is certainly very strong so it's no surprise that he is able to distance Contador in a climb like Aia. If he was 'much stronger' though, why was he brought back so quickly?

When was the last time Samu did a good TT? He will likely be dropped tomorrow, though.

Henao is the best this PV. He will win the ITT.

Contador good, but just not good enough. I think.
I'm not so sure.....ITT isn't a muro where he is obviously stronger

But Arrate is hard. The best rider in the race will take time there.

And then it's just the case of taking risks in the descent.

Look at that! Reichenbach 10th overall! What a performance from the young man. He is a massive engine and is extremely powerful, and he deserves nothing less than coming top 10 in a big stage race like the Tour of the Basque Country. What a rider. What a man!

Contador started the final climb in the front of the group, Henao started with Landa very far back and from 2.2k to 2k to finish we see in the pictures that Henao went from that position to the 5th position of the group. Then made it quickly to Contador's wheel. I think he tried to attack near the final through Contador's right but the spaniard blocked (legally) his way and closed him with the rails. Then it wasn't very space and an attack even if successfull, wouldn't give much seconds.
