Tomorrow Contador will win, he has the best recovery and he is a better time trialist than henao. Pinot will lose a lot of time in arrate

Yeah Pinot can absolutely win this.

So, Kirby:

- mistakes Purito and Craddock for Contador and Henao
- mistakes Pinot for Reichenbach
- mistakes Contador and Henao for 'Si Clarke' (and, I suppose, unknown other rider)
- mistakes Craddock for Clarke upon crossing the line

All of which were a) not the logical people to think of and b) obviously wrong if you were paying attention. And all within the span of ten minutes. Impressive stuff.

Henao refusing to pull? Hum...

He's doing plenty

Not really, you can tell he's going to try to drop Bertie. Just tried now in fact.
lol what kind of delusional world you life in? henao was pulling all the time. doing more work than contador never planning to attack.

I don't think either of them went full gas once they were together. Both being cagey not walk onto a counter attack. Clearly they are the best two climbers in this race.

Henao and Contador looked really strong. I think they could have worked a bit better together to put some more time into Purito and especially Pinot. Pinot being the diesel that he is was always poised to claw back some of the deficit in the final part of the climb but I feel that Contador just didn't feel like pushing very hard and then walk into a late attack by Henao.
They worked together. Contador could have been thinking more on saving some energy for the TT. But they took turns. The other two came back on the descend.

What I am afraid of regarding Contador just preserving himself a little cause of the TT cause he knows he will beat em there is if it rains, then it will become more of who is willing to take most risk downhill and in and out of corners.

Does anyone know why Etixx were riding on the front on the last climb?

Contador paid verona or, maybe he's a big fan of contador or maybe he hopes for a gift later on.

There was a time where I could have a cheap laugh because of his mistakes, but now it's just annoying. It is beyond me how he still get to keep his job..

Verona, spanish, why not? He is nowhere in the GC anyways, might as well.

Superb stage, beautiful celebration and Rodriguez! Quintana bad today after yesterday, hoping he will challenge for the stage tomorrow.

Why ??

Simon Clarke is a very nice guy but he is not a top GC rider ....must be he talked to Kirby in a bar
Kirby will now hound him all year like he did Attapuma

Poor Si Clarke his season is doomed

I think too much time spent commentating on dull stages has prompted him to imagine a parallel race in his head where he always gets fixated on some random rider no matter if he is contention for the GC or Stage/One day race victory.

Unless of course if Reichenbach is in the race, then it's all about Reichenbach.

So the top 4 are in 12 seconds. It is going to be really interesting TT tomorow. Contador looked super though, I think he held something back for the TT. He clearly didn't go all out after the initial attack.

it is possible, but every second with Pinot, Quintana and Purito is important...Contador has a very strong attack, but later he fade a little. so I dont know. He is of course the main favourite for GC, but everything can happen.

We just have this reference this year, and it supposed Contador is stronger now:

12. FRA PINOT Thibaut FDJ 01'02" 0
13. ESP CONTADOR VELASCO Alberto TNK 01'03" 0

Might as well? Gallopin actually had something to ride for and we never heard the end of it on here.

There are two easy options:

a) He likes Contador or Contador is his idol
b) He got paid

It is definitely not like Gallopin situation
