I couldn't watch the stage but from the results I can see there was carnage. The pretenders got dropped. So it's up to 4 riders for the win. Just looking at the results I'm surprised at Purito. I didn't know he has it in him. I'm gonna watch the stage later.

And of course Rosa?! Wtf? I can't wait to see the replay.

Henao refusing to pull? Hum...

He's doing plenty

Not really, you can tell he's going to try to drop Bertie. Just tried now in fact.
lol what kind of delusional world you life in? henao was pulling all the time. doing more work than contador never planning to attack.

I don't think either of them went full gas once they were together. Both being cagey not walk onto a counter attack. Clearly they are the best two climbers in this race with Henao being slightly better.

Fixed the last sentence for you

Gallopin rode against his teammate, Verona did not. I hope that you could understand that

Except that he didn't as he was chasing to get back to the second group so he could 1. Be there to sprint for the win if the front 3 were brought back and 2. Protect
There is no reasonable explanation for what Verona (or Brambilla?) was doing.

Gallopin said that he pulled because he like him as they play rugby or whatever, not because of his 9th place in GC. I guess Brambilla just wanted to earn some money and it is perfectly fine as there were no QS riders around, it is like Tiralongo working for Contador.
anyone neutral working for contador is fine. unlike team sky. :p

Seriously, can't you read "there were no QS riders around" part?

Will they change bikes tomorrow?
Seems unlikely. A road bike will be way better on the uphill and downhill - then there is only 5km or so of flat. Stopping to change bikes, losing all the speed from the descent, would probably lose a fair bit more time than a TT bike would save over such a short distance.

Yeah, I think so too. Normal bike with TT bars. Bike change costs 15s at least. Doubt a TT bike will give such a benefit

Does anyone know why Etixx were riding on the front on the last climb?

Etixx were just practicing for Roubaix where all their riders will end up in a chase group.

Surely is a team order, not a personal election, the team said work for Contador and that is. With italians he has good feeling.

With Contador there are a lot of examples of that, to say one, Nieve on le Tour did an amazing work.

And Nocentini, Bongiorno and Anton in the Giro.
Tiralongo does not count cause he is a really good friend :)
