Next year, Quintana wil miss races because he's randomly getting lost in a town near Madrid looking for the back wheel of Contador

Didn't he say that he should be more conservative in order to win the Tour, he's one of the most boring one dimensional riders in the peloton.

Or maybe he's just smarter about cycling, and knows that wasting his energies on pointless attacks is a sure way to not being able to perform when it really counts. Far fetched, I know.

País Vasco is all about explosiveness. So if you can follow an explosive attack of Contador near the top, it's a good sign.
If that was an explosive attack I am the queen of England.

So it were Contador, Henao, Quintana, Yates, Pinot and Purito who reached the top of the last climb with a small gap over the others.

A sign?

Aru was not in the group of 10 favorites. Neither were Mollema, Barguil or Costa.

The Astana rider just behind the GC group was LLS who was about to make his attack.

I barely agree. Eheh

It was only one of his classical attack to see if there's someone in trouble...or strecht the legs , as you prefer. In my opinion , nothing relevant has happen.
The real test will be tomorrow , finger crossed !

It's not a 30 minute Ventoux effort either ;)

I fear that Nairo will neutralize every move Contador makes allowing an outsider to take the win. He was glued to his wheel today.

Nice day, I thought Dani Navarro would beat him when they approached the last 50metres. Simon Gerrans was very strong too furder down the road.

Also, I talked to Felline after the stage; another very nice guy who seems to not know nohing else than "*** man" in English. He told me he started the first climb up front thinking he would go easy today and finished it in the back of the peloton struggling really bad; then after the second he started feeling better. He also said he believes he is at Gerrans' level in a finish of this style; that Gerrans went from far away today and he was a bit too relaxed because he thought Luis Leon and Dani were much further.

He was impresed in the climbs last year in Criterium internacional.

Where the riders sleep this days?

well donde Quintana, the best he could do, being sick.

Exactly !

Quintana is riding his race and doing what he needs
And there is name calling from Contador fans ... calling a rider a virus is not funny

But I guess anyone that can/may beat Contadar gets so much of this type of rubbish and name calling

Was it Simon or Adam in the front group? Also how can we tell the difference when they are far away and race numbers are too small to make out?

Both finished in first group. Adam is working for his brother this race.. as demonstrated with Adam pulling the peloton up the final climb with Simon on his wheel.

That's a fair summation by Felline - Thought there was always a strong chance that a breakaway could get away on the top of the last climb because the sprinter types like Gerrans and Felline would be a little back from the front of the peleton at the end of the last climb.

Simon Yates will win it. They'll be underestimating him while letting him go.

Depends on the support of his team - Plaza,Tzurruka and especially A.Yates were strong today - A.Yates did a power of work but still finished with the peleton - Stage 2 is brutal.
