You kid, but certainly for Gesink, 6th today is not a bad result at all.

Rabobank didn't do bad. Kelderman had a nice result, Gesink too (first race since injury etc.) and for Mollema it's a decent result as well. Guess only Kruijswijk didn't do that well but nothing to worry about (yet).

Valverde might win the Tour this year with pathetic competition we have now for GTs.

nah i also feel bad for alberto but the competiton will be terrible.can't see valverde making the top 5,cobo in rocket-fuel mode and prepared mentally is the only climber along andy having a chance to win le tour.

Cobo will need a hell of a lot more rocket fuel than he used at the Vuelta then.

honestly, the mental side worries me more.because no doubt if he goes for GC,he will suffer more than he suffered his entire life in andy's wheel.

Ah, but Jens, at times like this just remember what happened last time the two of them faced off at Le Tour... Cobo won, and Schleck lost 9 minutes.

Well done by (Tom) Dumoulin. I remember when I suggested a year ago that he could be a good stage racer for the future youngest and D_T nearly had me killed for thought crimes... Even the Dutchies where Doubting Thomases when it came to his ability. Not any more I warrant.

He could be a good stage racer, but more in the Luis Leon or Tony Martin sense, I think. On serious climbs he never challenged, among the espoirs. But who knows.

Moreno is a classy rider ( always able to sniff out the chance for victory ). I also like how much of a loyal Lieutenant he is for JROD.

If we have 21 punchy finishes and no mountains then you might be right.
