Also Gilbert vs. ValverdeJust awesome. Can't wait.
hrotha said:Still, good result for Gesink. Nothing spectacular, but after his injury you'd half expect him to come 50th or thereabouts.
Dekker_Tifosi said:But I expected much more from Mollema and Kruijswijk. Oh well. We'll see in a month where they are

Ok what's wrong with this? First to spot it get's an airguitar.
That's Samuel Dumoulin. The guy in the Ruta del Sol is the Dutch Dumoulin, and he's 185 cm and 72 kgs.Michele said:Doumulin according to wikipedia is 51kg (159cm) instead of 61kg (178cm) of Valverde.
Kruijswijk says he attacked and then blew up, and that he still has some work to do on these type of finishes before Tirreno. Mollema says he needs more racing (fair enough, it's his 4th race day of the year, and indeed he's never good straightaway).Timmy-loves-Rabo said:Meh Mollema and Kruijswijk are never good straight away, I actually thought Mollema's performance some what encouraging. Wonder how he goes at paris-nice.

Lanark said:You wouldn't, unless you follow u23 cycling quite closely, this is his first pro-race. He is more of an ITT specialist, but can climb a bit as well apparently.
I saw a video of that "hill" finish in Portugal... that wasn't much. This is definitely the best climbing he's ever done.Dekker_Tifosi said:I don't know why you guys all react like it's a huge suprise.
He did show good climbing abilities on SHORT hilly finishes at U23 as well. He won the GP Portugal u23 after finishing top 5 on the hill finish and winning the time trial. But the crucial part was the top 5 finish on a steep hill.
