Contador really the best rider in the race atm. Nibali is extremely shaky: some stages really solid, other stages really poor :(

Well, it was an exciting stage but Froome just cements his position as he best GC rider on the planet of the last 5 years

Indeed. Contador doing a good job. Its always been about Froome/Contador.

That throws the cat among the pigeons! I was confident Nibali's form was coming good and Froome was on the wane, but then Froome just made that stick and put a good 15-20secs into NIbali there, makes reading what is likely to happen on the Angliru much hazier to predict!

Nibali was never going to do wonders on Angliru, heck he couldn't even follow Horner there in 2013 !

The way things are going it seems Bertie could get 2nd after Angliru...

Seems the talk of Froome fading was premature, looked fine today. Woods is my man of the vuelta, doing absolutely brilliant other than the TT

It's the longer climbs Froome will struggle with now - yesterday was slightly longer and didn't suit Froome. The Angliru too will be very hard for Froome with the up-down-up-down style of the last 6 km or so and the longer length.

I think this is why some people dislike Sky. Just wow.....

Man, I'm replying to your post but not to you.

I get the Sky hate, I get it. We want to see the animators have opportunities to be entertaining.

But how often you people get on the bike every morning telling themselves "I wish the competition was just a little worse"? Honestly, that is a losers attitude.

I just can't get over the attitude that Sky have any fault, or that what they're doing needs to change. You can not like them, but the way some people are shaping their perspectives is to far off mark.

Such a pity that Andorra stage for Contador.
It would have been great fight with Froome without it.

It is better for him to have had a what if final GT than to be mercilessly eaten by Sky in a heads up I think
Maybe but I basically do not care what is better for him (it sounds worse than I mean it :))
For us fans it would be better.
