See, if Trentin managed to take it, Froome found a way to spoil a wee bit this day by contending a jersey that ultimately doesn't matter all that much. Not smart :D

Froome is such a greedy rider, team-mates are never allowed to win and he still sprints for the sprint jersey. Disgusting rider. Hopefully we never hear from him again after this.

Hinault won a bunch sprint on the Champs-Élysées. Because he could.

No **** given.

In the days when only captains were allowed to go for the win.

Not 1979 vs Zoetemelk; 1982 was a full-on bunch sprint.

bingo.

and merckx sprinted and ultimately won his EIGHTH stage win on the last stage of the 1974 TDF (that he was winning by more than 8 minutes), taking it away from his best friend and six-day race partner Patrick Sercu (the green jersey). Sercu was dq-ed for sprinting irregularly to try and stop merckx. a freaking bunch sprint.

Loving your salt. You're becoming a parody.

Froome deserves the Green.

Lmao, I'm far from a Froome enthusiast but I don't even agree in the slightest. What is he supposed to do, just give the jersey away? Honestly, Froome should have finished ahead of Poels yesterday anyway, but what's honestly wrong about this? Nothing. The Valverde did this, some people were upset, but the race is on even the last day.

Get out. I don't like Froome, but trying to win everything isn't disgusting.
Merckx wasn't disgusting either. Sure he doesn't make friends by giving away presents, but I can only admire that. He just wants to win everything he can. There is nothing wrong with that.

Kirby not even trying to be impartial

Why would he?
It's not like the Contador fans here - or the Mods - do.
He's British and giving commentary for a British channel. Why would he be impartial?
