@ the tour of cali clean team shacks will give out yellow bracelets to everyone to help kill cancer. It is just a little thing but when billions of these things are worn it helps reduce your risk of getting cancer.

I think he is sponsored by cancer and is making millions out of it , oh wait no he is giving milliions ,my mistake , he was going to give millions .

Lance was a guinea pig for the good of mankind all those PED's he has taken over the years has been to sacrifice himself for cancer research.

Do you believe in miracles Nick777?

Transforming a person who can't climb or TT and mold him into a 7 Time Tour de France winner is even MORE miraculous than the cancer cure.

Screw Gene Doping - Dr Ferrari has discovered the Cycling Holy Grail.

Will this "Miracle Transformation Program" work for other one-day-racers too?
Does it ONLY work for one day racers who can not climb or TT well?

Now for a Cycling Fan to believe the Myth that "Doping Transformed Lance into a 7 Time TdF winner" is one thing. Sure it can lead to crushed and broken dreams for some ex-fanboys or an obsessive dislike for Lance that leads to missionary level zeal in others - but all in all its mostly harmless.

But it is quite another thing for a talented young rider to believe that Myth.
Hopefully they are wise enough to know what it REALLY takes to become a True Champion in this day and age. Doping = Fail.

It worked for Riis.
Maybe the best program gets the best results.
It's pretty simple.
No, no miracles for me.

Even if Armstrong emerged naturally as a GT rider after cancer, he never would have won - and never did win - any of those 7 Tours without doping. So yes, Ferrari and doping did help to "transform" Lance into a 7-time Tour winner, ie Armstrong wouldn't have won any of those Tours without Ferrari and EPO/transfusions.

But to be fair, no clean rider would have won a Tour during those years.

So you say.... we know by his own admission Riis doped in 96, and therefore we can conclude he did so again in 97- but where did he place ? I believe Zulle and Jaja admitted doping too and never won the tdf. Floyd was busted for testosterone, not epo. Your statement is absolute proof of nothing- but to be fair, it cannot be disproven either; winning does not equal doping and vice versa; it is not proof, just a squiggle on a page.

I am just writing to say I am done. In this forum, there are so many haters, and Lance has always been about the good fight. I just don't believe that people can hate so much of someone who is so good, so this will be my last post ever!

If you hate Lance, then you love cancer, it is just that simple. He has done more for world poverty than any other cyclist. He has helped more people with PD than anyone else in the whole wide world. His message has personally helped me to stop smoking.

So this is my last post. Lance has just demonstrated that if you believe, you CAN achieve. I hope you all recover from your intense hate and can see the wonderful world in which we live.

Ripper ... out :(

: D

Amen, brother. I question why I get this account after lurking here for so long of a time. Lance has spread a messege of hope to millions around the world and pack of jealousy in this forum pokes fun becuase they don't have faith that some people can be bigger than their life.

What is PD? I have heard of VD but not this. I doubt if Lance has VD because the women is has been with are hot.

And, some constructive criticism here but I do think you exagerate on what Lance has power to do. This is the first I have read about the fight against world poverty and I haven't seen his anti smoking message. Good for you though you were able to feel his message of hope from his anti-cancer campaign and use it to make yourself better in your personal fight againt smoking.

As a new forum member maybe my pleas have no wieght but I hope you can reconsider your ban from the forum. Remember Jesus had haters to and in the end he got scoreboard because he wouldn't put up with anybody's crap by backing down from his belief or fight. Stand with Lance and all of his followers and don't let them win.

I leave you with a quote from Lance that will do good like he did for your smoking campaign.

"Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.”

Word.

Don't let them make you quit ripper. Peace.

Never said winning = doping, there are lots of races where I can believe that a clean rider might win, just not in a 3-week GT against rivals who are doping. Let alone for a clean rider to win 7 Tours in a row by an average of 3-4 minutes or so per Tour against a field of rivals all of whom are dopers.

Put it another way: there's not a chance in hell that Armstrong (or any rider) would've beaten all of his doping rivals by multiple minutes over a brutal 3-week race 7 years in a row. Zero. Zip.

So yes, again, doping did "transform" Armstrong into a 7-time Tour winner, in that he would never have won a Tour without Ferrari/EPO/transfusions/whatever regimen he was using, so long as everyone else was doping as well.

Only one rider wins, so only one of dopers can win !

The real question is : is it possible for clean riders to beat regularly the blood doped riders?

BTW, testosterone doping never explained the blood values of Landis, EPO or blood transfusion can explain why he had such hematocrit values.

Did I say that? Not reading things properly and comprehending is not an excuse that should be used when attacking.

No I said even Jesus had haters but that didn't stop his cause and I was trying to give ripper motivation for not quitting in the face of this Lance persecution. My heart is in the rigth place here and ripper may have been a valuable piece of this forum with his belief in Lance. If we all think the same then it gets boring and I applaud the vigorous debate on the forum as long as it doesn't get personal like this aggressive bikecentric on the other thread.

It depends on the quality of the recipient.

Holy f*ck! Another wave of crazy has started  I almost cannot wait till le Tour.

My last post should have been called "Ode to the Swordsman", as he has 'quit' in somewhat dramatic fashion more than once. Of course, I was never actually calling it quits ... and it looks like almost everyone figured it out. Nice pics Dr ... I especially loved the Twitter from Lance ... PRICELESS.

PS: sorry S-Man, hopefully you do not find my little ode to be offensive :D

I thought with things like that, the idea was that you bought the bracelets or wristbands and the proceeds from their sale went to the charity to help fight cancer, just like in October and November Britons buy those cheap poppies before Remembrance Sunday because the proceeds go to a number of charities involved with the Armed Forces. Doesn't giving them out kind of defeat the object? You get to say you're against cancer without lifting a finger? If I feel like doing that, I'll make a donation to Cancer Research UK, McMillan Cancer Care or one of the many other registered Cancer charities, and forgo the looking cool in my yellow wristband bit.

But I don't do that, because like all Lance haters, I love Cancer, so why would I make a donation to fight it?

yes, you can also get the special Prance StrongArm ones with magnets inside them, that work on the body's magnetic field, and cure all ill.

Prance wore one in Indiana University clinic while recuperating from Da KAncA

holy carp batman, yes you did and you repeat it again despite your denial ! you must be a politician, or at least destined for such an orifice.

I think it might be worth to examine LAs actual training logbook during his tdf years and contrast that with that of some of his rivals. Merckx always said, to become a good cyclist you must ride lots ( or words to that effect). I think that is very true, personally, I never had any athletic talent growing up, but when I got into cycling I treated it like a major addiction- I rode lots and pushed myself to achieve personal best times on a near daily basis- and I got darn fast on regular wheels and steel- I always caught guys on the road, even coming back on double centuries. I think most of your doping proponents are weekend warrior racer types- people only willing to go half-way- and have no knowledge of what you can do when you decide to go all the way and more. Do yourself a favour and push yourself sometime, maybe you can realize you don't need to cheat or drugs to achieve personal greatness- you just need to get serious and push yourself.

Did you watch the race? Festina went up a notch from the year before - they were so juiced in that race that they were nearly glowing. Riis was another year older, they were all on the program, the best guy won. Pretty simple.
