Just noticed something. Why is Visconti not included in Italy's team?
More like why has De Marchi been left home?
When it matters Visconti is always useless. On the other hand De Marchi is always a beast, giving his all. And he's in pretty good form.

Oh well. To me Italy should have 2 leaders.
Nibali for a crazy last minute attack or something even crazier before.
And Elia Viviani for the sprint.

They are the only two people in that team who can become WC.
Trentin + Colbrelli + Bennati (and super Nizzolo of course) to leadout Elia. That would be awesome.

Nibali is their best card for sure anyway, I hope they make the race really tough. And some bad weather wouldn't be too bad either.

What are Belgium going to do? By rights, GVA should be their leader.

I would love to see GVA or Boonen win. Boonen in particular.

all in for a sprint with Boonen for some strange reason..

Of course not. Plan A is to attack, plan B is a sprint with Boonen, just like last year.

I keep reading that Ulissi is their leader. I don't think Viviani will be there in the end but Felline could be a dark horse.
