My go to is New Belgium Fat Tire, but I'm bored with it for now. What is your favorite amber ale (that I can get in Boise, ID USA)? Sometimes I like IIPAs, but they aren't doing it for me lately. What beer are you drinking?
That is how Republicans balance the budget.jmdirt said:"There's maybe 20 or so on the Top 5 list but it's my list and I can do what I want with it."
Nice!
I've been sampling some new (and old) local beers, but I'm still lookin' for a new favorite.

Hopscotch Scottish Strong Ale, 8.2%, water, hops, barley and yeast.
Really nice toasted malt, rich mouth feel with a dry carmel finish. Nice beer if you can find it.

Is carmel a word in America or can you just not spell because your nation can't pronounce caramel correctly?

Can't speak for the nation but the beer was 8.2% ABV. I can't be held accountable for spelling errors after a couple of these.

The only one I ever drank from that list is Guinness. So the article says that the problem with Guiness is that it contains fish bladder and high fructose corn syrup, but it doesn't proceed to explain why those would be bad. A quick google teaches me that fish bladder is actually used fairly commonly, especially in British breweries and I couldn't find anything about negative health effects. As for high fructose corn syrup, it's basically just sugar isn't it? Another quick google teaches me that it's again a very common ingredient, used as a sweetener in lots of sodas and fruit drinks apparently. I mean, generally people eat way too much sugar nowadays so it's bad in the sense that it's another random product to which they added sugar causing people with Western diets to eat too much sugar, but it's just plain old sugar......
By the way, the fish bladder thing actually has a very particular, helping somehow to remove the yeast. For more info about fish bladder in beer and other products see:

Anyway, in conclusion, I don't see any reason to stop drinking Guinness just yet![]()
