Glucosamine and chondroitin and MSM are all very good for joint "issues". They won't cure any problems but they do make the pain go away. When I don't take them my old (1971) motorcycle injured knee starts to hurt. I used to take a "no flush" niacin but I don't remember why I stopped(?).

Maltodextrin as stated elsewhere is good too. I get it for my brewery, about $40 for 50 lbs.

I like Green tea.Green tea extract from The Vitamine Shoppe since it has green tea extract which is a free radical and some caffeine which helps me burn some of my excess fat.

It helps burn fat since I have upped my cardio and follow a good diet.

Anything that is green tea extract is the same, you just pay more for some labels. If the same brand is more, it is probably a higher dosage.

I am currently using Monster Milk for recovery, I really like the Cytsport / Cytomax line of products. I can no longer find the Recovery formula, and can only assume that The Muscle Milk is its replacement. So far so good I am liking the Monster Milk.

I have also switched to a Trader Joes line of Fig Newton type bars. Much easier to cary, and just about the perfect size. 150 cal 27g carb. And very in expensive 6 bars for $1.69. Less than .30 ea Did I mention they taste great. Fig, Strawberry, Blueberry, Apple.

A bar and a bottle of Cytomax before the 5.30 am ride.

For recovery I use 2 scoops of nestle's quick mixed with 32oz.s of skim milk and two whole wheat english muffins.Before a ride its 5000 mg.s of b12 a banana and powerade for the the ride.
