... OTOH, I´d surprised, ... no, shocked if Nibali ever gets caught for "mega" doping. I guess most of the clinic "members" see it realistic; that GT riders actually do work in (at least) the grey area (micro-doping and/or shady methods).
But yet on another OTOH, Nibali showed talent early, his progress is smooth and steady, he is the true champ. And if Vuelta organizers have any influence of the outcome, they wold never ever allow Horner to get away with the GT-Victory. Because they know he is the exact opposite of Nibali. So after all they know the grandpa will be caught sooner or later...
That means it would be the (at least) same disaster as with Mosquera...

Dude, you'd be shocked if a guy who worked with Ferrari as a youngster and who now rides for Astana was popped? Unless you choose to define "mega-doping" as "ludicruous amounts of dope that would trip every wire ever", you're being very naive.

This is the same guy that is "not sure" about Froome so of course he would think that.

Actually Nibali would be showing talent to equal Horner's younger, clean attributes. CH was able to ride serious American pro criteriums extremely well. The kind that terrify twinkie Euro climbing lightweights. He may not TT but he's always managed to be on the right side of pack splits and anticipate the action.
Test 'em both.

Actually, if you look at USADA's OOC report (available on their website), we was tested quite a bit while he was training at home. That said, I don't have much confidence in those who are doing results management of the passport, and I think he's probably jacked to the gills--but he's been tested a fair bit this year OOC.

He received at least one call on atraining ride warning him of vampires at the door and extended the ride. Bend can have "sketchy" cell service so he controlled when he was examined and had a ready excuse for his availability. You could call that a "test"....just like Lance's 500.

That's pretty funny. :)

Have we seen a single clean victory in pro cycling this year? Would we expect to, given the current makeup of the ProTour team Directeurs Sportifs?
Don't know and don't care.
I enjoy seeing one guy cross the line before the other.

I found it funny that when someone not from the south of europe wins something the forum is flooded with tears of butthurt fans. Threads like "an african won something, a south african in yellow , wow fishy" just solidify the thing. Like if you are from south , winning is because of talent (and forgot, panache hahahaha), if not than you must be doping.

This basically sums it well. The foundation of all doping threads. Nobody seems to be bothered with a mediocre and boring dude winning a lot of GT's :D

The problem being you are wrong and one other thing is we from the south(let's say in this forum) are under no illusion when it comes to doping..oh well..except maybe Taxus :D

Exactly that....
BTW, those are the amounts that the grandpa uses to beat young riders in excellent shape.

No, i am not naive. Have been trou all the doping mess ups since the mid 80s (not only cycling). Personally i think many are microdosing their dope in sheer fear of getting caught. But i also think their are some clean riders who made a career (like Casar or Moncoutie). And then there are the old addicts who don´t know better, the use-them-all-and-often-stuff riders like Horner, DiLuca or Mosquera for example...
