I wish I had the time again for the number of destination type of rides y'all do. It takes a lot for me to get on my bike and do the same tired routes in the name of fitness. New scenery would help tolerate the pain now and again.

I've been going up and down the same hill the past few months like a friggn yo-yo

props

Some how work out a way where you can win the lottery and come to Australia and we'll ride together.

Spent a few days riding in the California Central Coast... San Luis Obispo, Cambria and Paso Robles area.

Just beautiful country.... some of my favorite riding.

Santa Rosa Creek Road heading towards Paso Robles. I was stopped for a minute to let a herd of wild turkey cross the road. Pretty cool stuff.

I'm down in San Diego for a few days. I'll probably ride Mount Soledad tomorrow...Via Capri if I feel extra ambitious.
Any suggestions for other San Diego rides?

Did 3 laps of the 12 mile circuit near my house today after spending the morning and afternoon with my niece at the pumpkin patch. The view as I fixed a flat!

Just arrived after a 14 hour drive back to my home state of Minnesota for a week. Riding all my old routes, St. Croix river valley, by way of White Bear Lake to Stillwater, then up to Scandia, Big Marine Lake. It's gonna be sweet, and lots of gravel roads too!!!

Today my teammates and I will start with Como St. (So Cal group ride) but break off to head down to Dana Point with a nice return ride back up PCH. Time to get in those LSD rides. :D

Going to ride up Beechmont Mountain tomorrow, past the bus shelter at 6.5km which is a popular mid-week training ride where everybody goes to, but it goes on for another 20km. Past the best shelter there is a 2km descent which I can get up to 60km/h on, we climb for another 3km, and then there is a lot of undulating rolling hills which will eventually allow me to go down the other side of the mountain or I take a left hand turn and I go up to Binna Barra National Park which is the summit of the mountain, there is a cafe up there and the climb up there is around 12-13% for 1.5km.

I won't go there but I'll stop at a popular look out point where people like to go hand gliding. I'll sit up there for a while as I have a few things I want to think about in peace.

It looks like it's going to be a rare sunny weekend in November, so the plan is to cycle round the back roads to Tipperary, before heading south into the hills and the Vale of Aherlow (one of the prettiest and most fertile valleys in Ireland, with great views across to the Galtee mountains hopefully), before circling back into Limerick. About 100k in all.

Did the LA t-giving ride for the Nth year in a row. Always a blast but this year Seemed smaller than in previos years. Anyone else do it? I know there are a few LAers on the forum. Riding in huge packs and taking over the streets is always fun for me.
