It's not official, that Pogi isn't riding Giro, feel free to correct me.

Do you have reason to believe that he may change his entire spring schedule?
If not, that's your official confirmation that he isn't doing the Giro. At this moment Roglic not doing the Giro is more likely than Pogacar doing it.

Remco plans probably were canceled after what happened to him.

Jonas schedule is certainly already decided, but they didn’t revealed yet.
Most of the reports don't have him establishing a full schedule until January.. So moving normal winter volume levels for a couple of months has TDF and Vuelta most likely as long as rehabilitation goes perfectly. Lots of the best and hopefuls are able to get training volumes of 4-6+ hours on the bike. Also limited reporting on Soudal-Quickstep training camps.. Lots of other teams are posting from camp on social media.
Another Belgian without injury..

@James M

Nah that is just Jonases riding style. He often looks back and at some point some people believed he was checking if Rogla can cope, when Jonas was pulling. It turned out it's just his signature move. To often check what is surrounding him. At Giro hopefully he won't need to look back, as Rogla will be far ahead. We'll see.

Probably he will not be at the Giro Abi.

Due to Rogla announcing his participation?

I don't know to be honest, considering not even Pogi has ruled out Giro just yet i don't see any special reason on why Jonas would at this point. Beyond the fandom speculations and Christmas wishes. Remco might have already ruled it out, due to the injuries but even in this case one can't be sure. We'll see.

Pogi won't ride the Giro, do keep up.

I'm hoping Rogla goes Renewi and Guangxi to finish the year honestly. Then next year does TDU, TDS, Pologne and Vuelta.

Really hoping for a Tour win this year though.

Exactly. So how is he the first rider to announce his full schedule when he hasn't?

Because Rogla announced he is doing Giro-Tour first, Pogi only confirmed Tour and is still deciding in between Giro and Vuelta, Jonas and Remco didn't announce all that much just yet. So here Rogla is a clear winner. On top of that what would you want him to do more, Giro-Tour-Worlds should do just fine in the 2025 season. As for one day races in fall, at this point that are all predictions anyway, not announcements.

Another thought i had is on why some of you assume Pogi and Jonas do actually want to face each other at two GTs in the 2025 season? Crazy talk. So one will most likely select Giro and another one Vuelta. If both will actually do two GTs in the 2025 season. That is on why they haven't decided just yet.

Jonas to the Giro and Tadej to the Vuelta. Only face off at the Tour.

Seems more likely but if Pogi decides he is doing Giro then Jonas will IMHO go to Vuelta. Somehow i feel it's indeed more likely Rogla will beat Jonas at Giro and Pogi at the Tour. It doesn't really matter for Rogla on who he will need to beat at what GT, he already decided and announced. We'll see.

Well, the thread title says "Who is going to announce their 2025 schedule first?" which no one has done yet. I don't see how Roglic "wins" when Pogacar announced the Tour first and then Roglic the Giro and Tour, when neither are their full schedule, but their main objectives.

I don't care who "wins" - I don't even get why it's a competition - I just thought it was quite fun how the Roglic fanbase claim that Roglic was first, when Pogacar announced his main goals before Roglic did.
