I never said Pogacar "won". I said neither have announced their full schedule yet, so how do you decide a winner?

Pogacar outlined his main goals of the season and will decide on the rest of his schedule later.

Roglic outlined his main goals of the season and will decide on the rest of his schedule later.

Pogacar did so before Roglic.

Why does it matter that it's a GT that Pogacar hasn't decided on yet? It's clearly not one of his main goals.

Maybe because the whole point of this thread is on who will decide and announce first?

So bottom line you claim Pogi announced first and i claim Rogla is obviously the one that decided and announced first. Rogla likely decided when still riding for Visma. Anyway, peopel can decide for themself, on who did it first. Decided and announced and on who is still deciding.

I'm not sure if you're being serious or if you're trolling at this point.

The only difference is that Pogacar has yet to decide on whether he's doing another GT, while Roglic is yet to decide on which other non-GT races he's doing.

If, by your logic, Roglic was first, this would imply that it only counts when it's GT's we're discussing.

This would mean that a rider who doesn't do a GT simply doesn't have a schedule.

A schedule is a plan for the races you're planning on doing.

Hence if you don't have a schedule, you don't do any races.

Then by your logic non-GT races aren't races.

No, not in the slightest. But I do care about nonsensical logical conclusions.

I just find it amusing that someone can be such a fanboy that they’d actually argue that a rider who has announced 4 races was the first to announce their schedule, when there’s another rider who has announced like 14 races and did it earlier. And I find it amusing that it even matters at all.

But hey, all good. You do you.

I see you don't actually care if Rogla or Pogi decided and announced it first. Now you see the whole reason this thread exist is to determine exactly that. But OK. Still i must say reading in between the lines i can't shake off the feeling that you do actually claim Pogi decided and announced it first and that it's important to you, likely as a fanboy, to stick to that.

As for quantity vs quality of decision and announcement. What more do you expect from Rogla then? Beating Jonas at Giro, Pogi at Tour and Remco at Worlds RR. What else should one do? For me that is more then enough. To ride Vuelta too?

You quite literally quoted an article from today, on where it says Pogi is still deciding and after went on claiming Pogi already won. Let me guess, you voted for Pogi? That explains it.

Rogla already said that he would race where Tadej doesn't. He also said he would speak to Tadej. We don't know Tadej's schedule but Rogla has his phone number so he's an insider who knows well in advance Tadej will skip the Giro. Checkmate.

If Pogacar even remotely considered going to the Giro, he wouldn't confirm Dauphiné neither would do such a full spring.
What UAE are telling us is smoke in the eyes. I can't believe there are people who actually believe that the decision isn't made.

As for Roglic' schedule , if he does more than 4 races next year, he didn't announce his schedule yet. Just part of it.

OK, but it looks like Jonas didn't answer and hence Vuelta is still up in the air, decision and announcement missing. Here we could make a poll on who will announce the decision about Vuelta first. That is second as Rogla already announced it.

It's UAE saying the decision in between Giro and Vuelta hasn't been made yet, to a point they could announce it. So it's not just about Giro and even Giro was not officially ruled out, Pogi turning up at Giro is still a possibility. Beyond that no announcement about Vuelta yet. As for Rogla, he is 35 and Giro-Tour-Worlds is plenty. I hope some of you aren't seriously suggesting he should do Vuelta too.

It's officially ruled out by his schedule. As I asked you few days ago, do you have reason to believe that Pogacar may change his schedule?

As for Roglic, he didn't announce the Wolds. So if he does it, it will be a fact that he didn't announce his schedule as you try to claim.
