I gotta improve my bike handling skills ;)

as long as the mafioso takes home the gold

also the best line was parullo's reasoning for quitting..

Well done to Kwibus .... and I guess I should say congrats to thirteen as well - though she headbutted me in the sprint for the line

Every time I see an update to this thread I jump in hoping that finally someone would have mentioned me....

you and your absinthe Scott, again with the drunckinbreakkillingbuzz:D

:D Now think about it...

At the front, ScottSocal was seen handing out free samples of absinthe. The atmosphere in the front group was optimal. Reportedly, many good jokes were told, but sadly I don’t know any of those.

What better way to lull your break companions into a false sense of security?

This:

Much to everyone’s surprise, Dekker_Tifosi appeared at the start of the race wearing a pink Borat-like swimsuit. Race organizer Boomcie generously allowed him to start the race. A decision solely fueled by empathy, that was loudly applauded by the audience.

and this:

Two of them were Borat_Tifosi and El Pistolet, who amicably hugged each other for warmth. A terrified Parrulo had to leave the race because he saw this blossoming bromance unfold

were just too good. Some good lines in the race report.

Thanks everyone for the nice remarks. I just feel like Dekker_T is being mildly ungrateful for all the free publicity I'm giving him.

That's one hell of a sad story!

I'm always trying to figure out who'd like to be featured, I even gave everyone a chance to subscribe to this particular race. I would no doubt have allowed you to race. :)

I blame the fact that Socal was giving me some very strong Belgian beers before and during the race.

It also explains why you were so abusive at your Australian team mates! :p

See guys, this is why I did so exceptionally well! I didn't drink alcoholic beverages during the race!

I'm a good girl, starting the day with a proper breakfast and some coffee. Eating and drinking only the things your body needs to keep up during such a tough race.

Amazing to think that I'm the Neo-pro/stagiare what am I actually? while you're the veterans...

You have actually been around for years, but never got to participate in the big races .

Yeah, TLR and I had some aspirations to go World Tour, but Mcquaid decided to go for Beijing instead because it was the safer choice.

Look how that panned out for him.

At least now we can govern our own races.

In other news, Dekker_Tifosi suffers from severe anal irritation. The cyclist who contested the Zero di Lombacteria in a pink Borat-swimsuit now deals with the consequences of his reckless and irresponsible behavior.

Paparazzi in Holland snapped this startling picture when Tifosi briefly left his parental home for grocery shopping.
