Sanchez will win because he is a super duper allround rider and only factors outside of his control can stop him.

Hm, you voted for Wiggins previously, what changed? Or is it such a kind of humor?

ASO counts the Peyresourde + descent + Peyragudes as one climb. If you do it's certainly harder than La Toussuire. If you don't..... then yes I can see your point.

Does anybody have a profile of that finish? For some reason the Tour site doesn't have that stage.

The latter. He's making fun of The Hitch and them.

Hehe, thank you for clarification. Because "allroundness" wins GT instead of riders themselves. :)

My logic is that Planche des belles filles is not suited to an early attack at all. A huge bunch will hit the uphill and as we know, it's very hard to attack even from a group of 50-60 riders. I think, a decisive attack can occur not earlier than from 2-2.5k to go. La Toussuire stage just favours an early raid perfectly and undoubtedly it is going to be the stage where they'll try to do something special.

I'd like to see Wiggo do it but do have concerns over his climbing on the real serious climbs and how he will cope after 15+ stages. Any other year I would put him down behind an obvious favourite, like AC, who he wouldn't be able to stay with but this year who is there? no-one looks really strong.

Schlecks in utter disarray, I think their tour is going to be a disaster.

Cadel, has he got the fight after now winning it? plus he'his age and form.

Sanchez, Rodriguez, Nibali, maybe and they may put time into BW on the climbs but how bad is it going to be in the TT's?

Got to be Wiggo on the form, team and ambition showed so far, IMO. But it won't be pretty.

Voted Gesink as his silky smooth climbing style is a mirror image of my own:p, but in reality if Wigans stays upright(which is a ?) think hes gonna take it.

doesn't have a few, says it'll be available in June.

With about 16km between the summit of the Bales and the foot of the Peyresourde, this is a stage that's really well suited to an attack on the Balès (which is a really tough climb). This stage could potentially create some big gaps. The only thing we need now are some GC-favorites with cojones. That's a much bigger problem

Please Andy Schleck, save the Tour and pull of a long solo attack on stage 11 and stage 16. I'll even stop disliking you if you do that! :)

Both are good TTers, Sanchez especially.

this stage will put wiggins out of contention imo

podium will be, in no specific order: lo squalo, samu and andy

You seriously think Vincenzo will win?

Only if the rest go really fast over previous climbs. Otherwise, no. It's a Wiggins-friendly final climb.

i think he will almost certainly be at the podium and has a slim chance to win, but a chance none the less.

There's nothing almost certain about his podium.

there is nothing almost certain about wiggins win, but it isn't stopping a lot of people from saying he is the biggest favorite.

just a question of opinions.
