No profile yet, but route should be the same as last year.
I might forget someone.

Very open race. Who do you think will win?

Gonna wait until after Brabantse Pijl to vote. But I expect Valverde to be right up there, definitely a podium. Would like to see Betancur do well also, but his Ardennes are in doubt at the moment.

Well, not Betancur (some sort of infection)

Gilbert is a good bet. I know most people will say he's nowhere near his old self, and I know that. But even before his 2011 level the Cauberg seemed to fit him perfectly.
It's the type of climb that's most suitable to Gilbert. So I think he will jump away and win

The Cauberg is tailor made for Gilbert. Or the other way around.

No one, no one, climbs it like him. It's his kick that makes the difference on a 8% ramp like the Cauberg.

I don't think neither Betancur, Purito nor Martin will feature here (top-20).

Kwiakowski is my favourite. Valverde to podium, but **** it up as usual. Good chance for an attacker.

I voted for Gilbert, but I'm by no means certain. I'll be interested to see how Kwiatowski competes on the Cauberg, particularly after the Strade Bianche.

is that...?
Yes, yes I do belive it is!
It is Bozic crossing the finishing line first, who would have thought that!!! (Kirby talking, so it was Gasparotto, not Bozic)

Gaspa FTW

Funny post and good shout. I'll back Gasparotto or Ulissi, based on pretty much nothing.

edit - also I was sick the other day and watched the entire video in you signature. Great stuff.

Valverde should probably win this, so I voted for him, but maybe he will find a way to be second.

Hoping for an epic solo win by Voeckler's tongue, though.

I'd really like to see Kreuziger win this, but don't no if that's realistic. I definitely think Valverde and Kwiatkowski will be on the podium.

**** no. If Voeckler wins in Amstel my day there is ruined with the people from pcmfocus
I'd rather have a Belgian win it even

I doubt Ulissi has the endurance (and bike handling) to win here. Even if it's dry.
Fleche is the perfect classic for him right now.

The Vino/Kash combo of 06 gave me high hopes for the tour 07. It didn't end as it should have, but it was a great time to watch cycling :p

You'll be in Valkenburg? Nice!

Have fun and write something on it after.

Definitely is, because he already won it last year :)

He won it from the break though. But again, he already performed well in AGR in the past.

Yes it's realistic

No he doesn't stand a chance.

Decent chance of a small group coming in together; nobody faster than Kwiatkowski in that eventuality, though Valverde comes close. The question is: will Alejandro, Purito, Costa, Ulissi, Martin, Kreuziger, et al be able to drop the decidedly less climb-happy Kwiato to avoid that scenario?

Slagter definitely a contender, too. Taken a huge step forward this year. Will be good to see him in Brabantse Pijl first.
