Who would you like to see in the rainbow jersey on Sunday?

Perhaps, but my bitterness doesn't erase his comments about Santambrogio, for example.

It's not just in response to your Terpstra comment, but pretty much every comment you do these days is soooo negative. I don't recall you were always like that.

What did he say about Santambroggio btw?

Was thinking the same.
I'm also curious about the Santambrogio comments.

Would love to see GVA win something personally. If not him, hopefully Phil Gil. But above all, it should be from an attack. If a sprinter takes initiative and closes down an attack himself, then I wouldn't mind if he goes on to win either though. But not someone who just sits in the bunch until the last 200m

Re: Who would you like to see in the rainbow jersey on Sunda

1. Nibali because that would guarantee a great race
2. Sagan because I like him and he deserves a big win
3. GVA because he also deserves a big win
4. Vavlerde because HOLY CRAP, JUST FINALLY GIVE THIS MAN HIS GOLD MEDAL

Santambrogio trawling the twitter for sympathy and Terpstra not buying any of it.

Come on Hrotha, that sounds like a very weak excuse to dump Terpstra....

Are there more?
It is a very good excuse, it makes Terpstra looks like a total d*ck and not many want to support a total d*ck.

Really? I can think of no better reason than to support somebody who says his mind.

Man, I dislike spineless clowns.

I love you Flo. A Dutch who isn't rooting for the Dutch. Now that is a dedicated cycling fan. :p

Has there ever been a situation where you have cheered because one of your favorite riders won against a Dutch? :p

Aargh! Can you (or someone else) please translate Terpstra's tweet. This is an English forum, after all and I don't want to judge a statement based on Google Translate.

"Extreme Santambrogio. First he goes to extremes to win. Now he puts a crazy text on twitter to get as many followers as possible."

That was Terpstra's response to Santambrogio posting "Goodbye world" (in Italian) on twitter after he got banned

ah, well many more people deserve much more sympathy than just another doper who perhaps regretted popping the needle in the vein.

I rather want to see people speaking their mind than getting the discussion drowned in pc.

Go Terpstra.....

Valverde? After two years ago, if he wins, I would literally be fuming.

I would like Kwia (because he will probably race fore Sky next year), Purito (though unlikely) Alaphillipe

If it is a sprint finish I would't mind Kristoff tbh

In spite of 2 years ago, I'd like to see Valverde make this one of the Greatest seasons of all time.

i don't think he'll win, but if he did, that would leave him only 130 points behind 11 gilbert

Good on him for speaking his mind, but he's a complete loser for having that on his mind at all. Someone is hinting at committing suicide and your first thought is "oh he's just begging for attention"?? That screams "douche" to me. Very few people deserve to die and doped up sports(wo)men are not among them. That was a cry for help. Thankfully some people like Alessandra De Stefano answered.
