How did michael schumacher cheat?
Ignoring the "driving Hill off the road to win the Championship" and the "trying the same thing on Villeneuve but being caught this time" thing, there's also that the 1994 Benetton was shady as all hell. There was traction control (illegal at the time) hidden as "Option 13" which could only be selected via entering a complicated code, and which was only on one car in the team. Senna noted after retiring from a GP that Schumacher's car sounded different to all the others when it passed him when he was walking back to the pits. It could be sour grapes, but it could be a telltale sign, given how insanely brilliant Senna was at noting and describing precise car changes (he used to go on race-length simulations and tell people 'the car was making this noise and doing this behaviour on turn 13 of lap 38'). There's also the illegal removal of the filter from the fuel rig, thus enabling faster feeding of fuel, which made the Benetton pitstops routinely quicker but ran the risk of a pitlane fire (as happened to Jos Verstappen, the other Benetton driver).
Then there's a lot of stuff he did that wasn't illegal at the time but was antithetical to the spirit of the rules, such as serving his drive-through penalty on the last lap so he didn't lose time as he crossed the line during it, or parking on the racing line, or making Rubens pull over to let him past on the final corner, and much of this was promptly banned after he exploited it.
