I dont give a monkeys ball what people say about wiggo, as stated many many times he is by far my favourite rider on sky. I do object however to blackcat deliberately by his own admission setting out to wind me up, which is just childish and troublemaking, and i object to bro making it personal, critisising and taking the **** out of something i do, just because he doesnt agree with it, bringing my wife into it, and making personal comments.

Its a ****1ng cycling forum, keep it to cycling and if we must have differences of opinion, then discuss them like ****1ng adults, not use them as an opportunity to slate people, make personal attacks on them. Frankly i think blackcat is a *** stirring C***, and does it deliberately. Bro, I dont actually think he means any harm, but i dont think he realises how some of what he says can annoy, offend and to a certain degree upset people. Ive been pretty honest about my medical problems, so i could actually do without someone going out of there way to try cause as much trouble as they possibly can. I stopped posting in this thread because it was actaully making me ill, but i cant hold my tongue anymore.. Bro.. DO NOT ****ING BRING MY WIFE INTO ANY OF YOURE POSTS YOU IGNORANT ****! And do not make personal judgements on me.. disagree with my opinion, fine, but dont you ****ing dare take the **** out of what i do, or my life. Tw@t

Now if someone wants to ban me for being abusive and swearing then **** it. Ive been pushed to ****ing far now by these two ignorant Twits

3)people make childish comments against me and the way i opst

Yeh, and im as guilty of it as anyone with you and i should learn to temper that, BUT, i always keep it good natured, and i stick to cycling. I would never bring your wife into it, your hobbies into it, or your personal habits or your sexuality. Thats the difference. And wiggins is not my favourite rider. Its those two that are obsessed with him. It also doesnt help that while im only about 10% ****ed up compared with 100% ****ed up a year ago, Im still slightly ****ed up. :D

Also doesnt help that the citalopram starts wearing off by about 10pm..

Yes you are a bit fairer in that sense compared to other posters.

huh? when did I say anything personal? I call Wigans Wigans. No harm in that.

You are in the clinic saying all the Spanish riders are doped to kingdom come. I just thought that was borderline bigoted to ignore the domestic riders and the GB setup.

Go back and quote something ad hominem. Mods will ban me then, so please, find the reference.

As ive said in the pm to you, youve got the flack from me cos you started this stupid thread as a windup. Bro on the other hand has ****ed me off big time with commenting on my wife, sexuality, and what i do for hobby, which i do becuase it gives me something mentally to focus on which helps me get better. Bro as far as im concerned contributes nothing around here except abuse. Most of the trolls contribute more. Im just the only one who has the balls to say it. Im gonna shut up now before everyone takes sides and this place turns into a warzone.

I wouldnt even be saying this unless he had really really ****ed me off, and it takes one hell of a lot to wind me up. The medication prevents it. :D

You, well you should just not have started this idiotic thread. It was always going to turn into an argument, that much was obvious by page 2

I contribute the humour. Wigans contributes the material.

And sorry for involving you in my tirade which although aimed mainly at bro, in war there are casualties, and for starting the damn thread you became on of the casualties..

As far as me and bro go i think the ignore option would be a sensible idea. Some relationships are never going to work.

I always knew you were a an asshat who could dish it out but could not take it. You were the one who brought other poster's sexuality into it; and when it gets thrown in your face, you go apesh!t. Instead of coming back with some, evidently overhyped, British wit, you throw a hissy fit less creative than a junior high school student who is two tacos short of a combination plate. Yet your mental inability to defend yourself in a fight you started is somehow my fault. Nice.

Emm, moderators? Mmthis thread might want closing now. KTHX.

Nah- true, this thread was a bit of a wind up but there are differences of opinion here and I think it is good for the forum to have that.

Dim, Blkcat & Bro offer very informative information and subjects that are intriguing and educational.

I went toe to toe with Dim about Wiggo leaving Garmin for Sky - which I think he (Wiggo) deserves the flack for breaking a contract- and I respectfully disagree with him (Dim) on that.
Other than that I actually 'like' Wiggo - and have the utmost respect for Dim :)

I don't agree with Blackcat about who does or doesn't use PED's - my PED 'radar' is a lil more forgiving (just a lil!).But his skepticism is not without merit and deserves scrutiny.

Bro should not have mentioned Dims wife - but the way the thread went (for which I played a part) is understandable - but I believe an apology may be in order - these guys have a lot in common - all are very passionate about the sport, are articulate, witty and clever. And I believe each has respect for the other even if their opinion is not shared.

Other than that - they're all twat's :p

So - my advice is a need to kiss and make up - but no fotos.

I think the crux of that one comes down to a big difference between sporting contracts on each side of the atlantic. In america certainly contracts are generally respected, the way nfl, nba etc operates is very very different to how things work over here. In the UK and europe in general the bosman ruling made a big difference. The employee has the freedom to work for who he chooses to work for, and many of us believe that is the right thing. I think people who are used to different things and laws are never going to agree one that one. Personally I have no problem with wiggins deciding he wanted to work for someone else, same as i have no problem with a rider from another team being able to hand in his notice and go work for another team. Contracts should be there to protect the employee, not the employer. The problem comes when you have a british team, and an american team, with very different beleifs over what is right and wrong. As far as sky are concerned they did nothing wrong, as far as garmin are concerned, sky did everything wrong. Neither is right.

The upshot is though that the rules and regulations over cycling transfers need seriously reviewing, standardising, and agreeing to by all the teams.

This is why i kicked off. Some of you obviously know i have some problems with anxiety. A condition that thankfully i am getting on top of, to the point where it is now finally common knowledge amongst freinds and family. But in the last year she has been my rock. Out of the blue last february I had a panic attack, regular dizzy fits, hospitalisation and have not worked since. In that year she has had to deal not only with her own stresses (she is a teacher, probably one of the toughest jobs), but also looking after and caring for a man who was nothing like the man she married. She has been through more in the last year than you could ever imagine and supported me to the detrement of her own health at times. We are through the worst and i am probably 90% recovered but she has been through so much. She has been there for me every step of the way when many weaker women would have given up. I will NEVER EVER stand for her being brought into any conversation in a negative light. IThats the one thing, that will really push me over the edge. Thats why i reacted as I have towards Bro. Its the second time shes been mentioned on this board. I wont stand for it.

yeah, phuck off piti, same to your buddy fuentes.

On a serious note, even though this is an internet forum, people should not get personal about things. Even though you are just typing words against someone their comes a point enough is enough with insults. Trust me, I know...

Should I get out my violin?

I never mentioned anything negative about your wife. I only said that I felt sorry for her having to deal with your unhealthy obsession with Wigans. There is nothing negative about your wife whatsoever in that. It was a jab at you. This is not just you being delusional, it is you trying to twist this into an issue. You could have PMed me to aske me to edit my post, but, no, you chose to use it as a cynical ploy to fake righteous indignation. In essence you are hiding behind your wife's skirts.

You needled me in post after post and then act shocked when you got the response you were seeking. Now, even more pathetically, you post a sad story that has nothing to do with the thread so we can all feel sorry for you. This reminds me of those sad sacks who go through life calling themselves cancer survivors, revelling in their victimhood and the reaction of others to their tale of woe. Life is hard. Cowboy the fcuk up.
