The Hitch said:Coppi Bartali would obviously be the ultimate cycling movie.
Or Poupou and Anquetil.

The Hitch said:The guy is getting a movie about him. We cant debate whether it will be a good movie?
Gloin22 said:Yeah, but didn't you notice that you strayed out of the ''Wiggins'' discussion a bit in last posts![]()
LauraLyn said:The "class" and "decent" parts I missed.
The Hitch said:Yeah, because the idea is clearly a stupid one so we are talking about cycling movies to which there actually would be some sense.
silverrocket said:Watching a Wiggins movie would be like watching him race. Bad idea for a movie. Armstrong movie would have it all: heros, villains, and a hero that turns out to be a villain in the end. A clever screenplay could bare all with a series of flashbacks. A Contador movie would also have it all because it would include Armstrong and a Spanish cow as the villains.

Wiggo HAD to be there for the obvious reasons.
Wiggo HAD to be seen at the race so he did some chasing and lead out work.
He made the gig, played his part, went home.
Probably would have gotten the bug sooner if Cav had been able to deliver the mandatory stage win earlier
The Sky guys have been crushing the competition for the whole season, think they enjoy rolling with "Endura", "United Health Care", and "UK Youth Cycling"?
If he's not in it to win it Wiggo doesn't want to be there. I remember Lance once saying in an interview, "I didn't come here to be pack fodder." Same thing.

What do we think of this then?
Afrank said:I could see him doing it simply to avoid all the "stress" and doping talk of the tour. Of course they're still would be stress and doping talk in the Giro and Vuelta as well, maybe just to a lesser extent.
William H said:I can't see him not putting in a proper defence of his title. Not unless he really didn't enjoy himself this year.

I was looking forward to getting his booty kicked by the real climbers, and answering the tough questions actually. On top of that Nibali is not going either. Now I have no reason to watch the Tour.jens_attacks said:it's a very good idea, just like i predicted
he can win both giro and vuelta
he didn't deserve all those insinuations by fatty-idiot journalists who write anything just to sell some paper anyway
looking forward to this![]()
