The guy is getting a movie about him. We cant debate whether it will be a good movie?

Yeah, but didn't you notice that you strayed out of the ''Wiggins'' discussion a bit in last posts :p

Yeah, because the idea is clearly a stupid one so we are talking about cycling movies to which there actually would be some sense.

Yeah yeah were very much on-topic still. Here's how i see it,the movie is called Skytrain 2 - Rise of the Troglodytes

Wiggins portrayed by Rhys Ifans or Danny Dyer or any one of a number of Britflick numbskulls (Leinders gets phased out at the end of Skytrain 1,too much of a 'reputational risk'),Harvey Keitel as Mick 'Freiburg' Rogers,Chris Froome portrayed by an Alien, the Empire is crumbling,Contador has regained Le Tour,Keirisson and Bartalucci have embarked upon a frenzied full blown team wide blood d*****g program to get the TDF back,Wiggins is flying stuff in on his private jet.....listen,won't tell you how it ends or i might spoil it.:) Feel a ban coming on.Feck it.

Sky HAD to be at the TOB, so they sent a team.
Wiggo HAD to be there for the obvious reasons.
Wiggo HAD to be seen at the race so he did some chasing and lead out work.
He made the gig, played his part, went home.
Probably would have gotten the bug sooner if Cav had been able to deliver the mandatory stage win earlier

The Sky guys have been crushing the competition for the whole season, think they enjoy rolling with "Endura", "United Health Care", and "UK Youth Cycling"?

If he's not in it to win it Wiggo doesn't want to be there. I remember Lance once saying in an interview, "I didn't come here to be pack fodder." Same thing.

Watching a Wiggins movie would be like watching him race. Bad idea for a movie. Armstrong movie would have it all: heros, villains, and a hero that turns out to be a villain in the end. A clever screenplay could bare all with a series of flashbacks. A Contador movie would also have it all because it would include Armstrong and a Spanish cow as the villains.

watching wiggin movie is like 'watching paint dry'..:D

anyway back to topic. I hope he doesn't catch what cadel and thor got it.. I want to see if sky can dominate the RR again like last year.

So what you are saying is Wiggo could not be bothered and thinks he is too good for his home tour. He is the big man now and will act like it ?

I call that a Winker who has no respect for the sport, his competitors or its fans. He will get a sharp reality check next year hopefully.

LOL

Wiggins caught a bug. Knees is suffering from the same bug as well... it's not like it's only Wiggins who caught the bug in the team... If he could - Wiggins would have finished TOB.

Wiggins said he loves the atmosphere of Tour of Britain, it's different to any other race etc. and the fans are superb etc.

More reason to trust his words than your imaginary situation there

Brad is showing his respect for the Tour of Britain,
the sport of cycling and his fellow British riders by
pulling out of the ToB. Now the media and fans
can focus their attention on Jonathon Tiernan-Locke,
Kristian House, Peter Williams and other British
riders who are competing for jerseys in this race
instead of focusing on Brad for his accomplishments
in other, previous races. And if his bug is contagious
it would be very selfish to continue and risk infecting
other riders and support staff.
Is it really surprising that a professional athlete that
is competing in an outdoor sport, and has daily
interactions with 100 other riders, dozens of media,
hordes of runny-nosed young fans seeking a high-five
or an autograph, and sleeping and eating at different
locations every day might pick up a bug occasionally?

I could see him doing it simply to avoid all the "stress" and doping talk of the tour. Of course they're still would be stress and doping talk in the Giro and Vuelta as well, maybe just to a lesser extent.

it's a very good idea,just like i predicted

he can win both giro and vuelta
he didn't deserve all those insinuations by fatty-idiot journalists who write anything just to sell some paper anyway

looking forward to this:)
I was looking forward to getting his booty kicked by the real climbers, and answering the tough questions actually. On top of that Nibali is not going either. Now I have no reason to watch the Tour. :(
