It would be different if there were clear rules stating that you cannot support certain riders or make jokes about certain things, but there are not. It claims to be an open forum for general cycling fans - not the den for half a dozen haters.

Hey-I don't go to other forums and don't get along with everyone. Since I have little experience I can only say what smells like a certain thing is a product of what I've stepped in before. Something continually smells the same.

for what it's worth, you did do a good job in this thread. It was a class move to slip in just a few baiting posts to get me to continue to respond, but carefully leave Brodeal and others to carry it on so your finger prints weren't left on the disruption. You are probably the best at getting me to go offtopic and stay there.

The thing is, once you've ruined the thread and got me off topic, I then think there's no point and just may as well defend myself. I'm my own worst enemy on that one really. I should just continue to ignore and show you up that way - I am fully aware that most of the half wits on here will see another one of these threads and just blame me rather than you guys, yet I fall into your trap.

The situation is pretty simple. You have crapped in the nest so often that the other birds do not trust you. No matter how nice you start out, they know that as soon as they let their guard down, you will leave a large turd in the center of the sleeping area.

Or she doesn't ban you or even warn you for doing a lot worse, like posting up a defaced wiki page on a famous rider. You guys are always in some fight with somebody but are never punished.

When was this? I only came here because Tom Morris registered a bunch of usernames, including mine, used by others on various forums and started trolling. I liked the international mix of members, which is different than most English speaking cycling forums, so I stayed.

This is B.S. She has warned me. Moderation here is light but pretty decent. It is a role that is hard to get right. The moderation style is still evolving. This place is way better than DPF or RBR.

You just don't get it do you? He has been banned over 20 times now for trolling. The fact that he start out making fairly reasonable posts has no bearing on this, he will go full *** fast. He is not allowed to post here and should be called out right away so he can be removed. Just because he has chosen a new name doesn't make him less of a troll and less insane.

I trust your opinion Dim, could you point out these supposed reasonable posts? I must have missed them. All I see it the same baiting, claims of persecution, and misinformation that have caused him to be banned over 20 times and had hundreds of posts deleted. Of his over a thousand posts in various usernames there must be 1 or 2 that made some kind of sense but most are just more pollution.

If he has an IP mask of some kind then not rising to the bait is the only option

They treat this 'troll' who ever never seen an offensive post from*, or start a trolling arguement, in much the same way as some of the peloton treated Bassons back in 1998 for having opinions out of step with the majority. It's mob bullying, pure and simple. (Some have even admitted that it might have been an innocent new poster, but they still have to hound anyone who breaks they're own little 'omerta').
