Ryo Hazuki said:that's cav for you. he's not a cyclist. he's a joke
hatcher said:You must have had access to the longer video featuring dragging by cars (and probably helicopters).
Can you post the link?
Captain Sensible said:So the World Champion is not a cyclist what does that say about all the riders he beat that day ?
I was not a Cav fan but all this hate towards him while turning a blind eye to anyone else you does the same as him has made me one.
Kwibus said:You know what sucks. I got Ryo on my ignore list for a long time and every time someone has to quote him it reminds me of why I got him on my banlist.
Why do you even reply to someone that posts such huge amounts of crap on this forum?
It's not always crap he posts, but certainly a ****load.
spalco said:Meh, I can't get outraged about a rider getting some help from random bystanders on the road. It's strange that he's struggling so much in that clip though, the road doesn't even look steep at all and he's barely going at a brisk walking pace. Is that from yesterday's stage (I missed that one)?
DominicDecoco said:Permanent bans are for whatever reason not used on this forum. If only the ignore thing worked properly. It doesn't. It's no use.
Kwibus said:It was the stage on friday which was filled with steep ramps and this is actually a pretty tough climb.

Proof for the Cav haters that he isnt alone in this practice.

No but they make singling out one of the wrongs pretty pointless.will10 said:So, two wrongs make a right? Got it.
hrotha said:Clinging to cars and being pushed up slopes is what pure sprinters do. Being a kamikaze and causing a crash is not.
Simple, and as old as cycling itself.
True, but there is a 'minor' detail, he's the world champion. Obviously he has zero respect for that jersey.hrotha said:No but they make singling out one of the wrongs pretty pointless.

Obviously he only started this year.El Pistolero said:Ah, but Cavendish said last year he doesn't do that.
Didn't say he wasn't.Ryo Hazuki said:and he was one of the greatest sprinters ever

And my point was that kamikaze sprinters are not well looked upon by their colleagues. Kamikaze folk are breaching the sprinting code most of their colleagues abide by. But being pushed up a slope is not a breach of their code unless you overdo it, because it's something most of them welcome at one point or the other.Ryo Hazuki said:point being is that we've always had kamikaze sprinters. and some were one of the greatest ever. in the 90s was far worse for instance in sprinting. but nobody ever asked abdu to be removed from a race. it was part of the job
