Wot no SBW???

Nah, but this is just pure climbing. Variable such as transformation, lateness of transformation, season peak as a whole, tting, etc are all ignored.

In the clinic, does it really matter who "looks good" on the bike, or off it?

Regardless of which side of the Froome debate people are on you have to admit he looks really ungainly on the bike, like its several sizes too small for him.

Something we agree with. :) He looks awkward on the bike compared to any other GC contender.

But back to topic, Contador will need some extra help to not lose minutes in the flat Tour TT...

On the Annecy TT thing - there was also the issue with Contador apparently getting a lot of help from the motos, at least Cancellara was ****ed about it after he lost by such a tiny margin. Which is not to say AC wasn't juiced as well.

Nice list. I think "El Chava" was a damn fine doped climber too.

Absolutely he was, may he RIP.

You do know that we all agree with you. We all hate dopers.

I hope that was meant to be sarcastic, because no, we don't all hate dopers.

This is me when I saw:
1. Tony Martin (OPQS) 38:33
2. Contador (Tinkoff-Saxo) 38:40

I didn't see today as that incredible.

I think both Froome and Contador are doped up to the eyeballs- but they're using very different stuff. Just from observing them, Contador still has a fair degree of muscle definition, whilst Froome is scarily thin- especially compared to the Barloworld days, and even since the Vuelta 2011. It's not a Rasmussen thin- because he's packing muscle on his thighs. But to me the difference is pretty shocking.

Well don't come in and pontificate on doping like you try to do in the various Sky threads.

You can't be credible then.

Hi Forum Police!
I'll post wherever I want, thanks. :)

And I will feel free to point out your inconsistencies and hypocrisies. Thanks.

It's a forum after all.

Doped to the eyeballs with absolutely no proof.

One would think someone in the Bruyneel iteration of Astana would have stepped up by now, since they've pretty much have all been disgraced and have nothing further to lose at this point, and said something about Contador.

But all you guys have to go on is a microscopic level of clenbuterol and a childish, undying hatred of the "Pistolero" salute. And as we all know, such levels of clen is a clear sign of all manner of organized doping skullduggery and more transfusions than in a WWII battlefield hospital.

It makes me wonder what this particular lab would have found if they had tested all the samples collected at the Tour.

Contador is doing us a favor by actually providing some good racing. If some of you can't enjoy it, what pleasure is there in relentlessly repeating the same unproven charges? Some of you are more obsessed with this than those loony TV televangelists.

:D

He looks very lean already and presumably he's going to lose more weight before the tour.

The Clen might not indicate blood doping, the plastercizers and the testimony of Mike Ashenden kinda do

When he got busted it did seem 'unlucky' and maybe someone phoned H&P and asked for something to be done. Because at the time wasn't that lab in Köln the only lab in the world that could pick up that low level of clen, if it went to another lab Dirty Bertie would have a few more GT wins on his palmarès?

But the good news is he got caught for having something in his system that shouldn't have been, the bad news is he only got a short ban and not a permanent one.

Really, all we have is the "microscopic" amounts of clen (that shouldn't have been there in the first place) and the gunman salute? So Saiz, Puerto, Discovery, Bruyneel, his sprints with Rasmussen, the plasticizers, Pepe Martí, his blatant lies, all of that never happened.

Who denies it happened?

I take the attack when and wherever possible attitude instead of the robotic, calculated, staring on the power meter kind of riding, any day.

Cleans?

In our dreams :)

Could be even more embarrassment for the sport coming up if he is caught. Better if it happens before the Tour. Tinkov and Riis in his corner he must be clean ? But that said I don't believe in Valverde's performances either.
