I don't know how everyone's so certain that every rider is still juicing. Post Armstrong there is clearly a massive stigma attached to it which didn't exist before. Life would not be a bed of roses for Contador if he were to get caught again. Do you think he wants to have the same universal disgust and condemnation heaped on him that Armstrong is getting?

The simple explanation is often the right one and the simple explanation here looks to be as follows: He juiced hard and killed everyone, then he stopped juicing and also stopped winning. Hard to take for his fans but that looks like the reality of the situation.

Of course if he discovers some "form" (cough, cough) for the Tour it will look terrible.

Mediocre riders like CF and RP jumped out from no where, in order to beat these big dopers. AC has to come up with a scheme and I don't blame him.

Day dreaming? SKY after all is a British team. I think they probably won't even let Joe Dombrowski get into "inner circle" code name for advanced doping unless he showed SKY loyalty after at least two years. And SKY right now already have more than enough top GC guys, why they keep pushing out new superman.

Well they're letting a Belgian, Kenyan, Australian and Columbian win, why not an American? After all the Brits are always keen to mention 'the special realtionship' between us and them, that they think exists. So if they don't let Joe 'win' next year we should write to our Congressmen and the President to apply pressure on the limeys.

Well :D I think more important reason is they have more than enough super GC guys right now, I don't see any incentive for SKY to push more supermen out at this moment. I think yes Joe can and will win, but I doubt will be any big races.

I think it's more likely that it's because of some super peak program. Or perhaps he is just out of form due to illness, and are building form.

That would be very strange

If he gets caught again he'll be out of the sport for good. Marti is sanctioned and I don't think he's working with him now. Riis is under enormous pressure and I don't think he's having a team wide doping program at Saxo these days.
Armstrong sanction would have sacred him too.
And don't think Saxo has protected status from UCI.

Who's he turning up to for his transfusions?

At least if he's not completely off the source, it seems he isn't doing transfusions or EPO/CERA.

And last, that could be the only logical explanation from his sucking form right now.:p

He might risk it for the Tour, perhaps this years' Tour only.

Illness, bad build up or something that went wrong with his 'medicine'. Plenty of explanations.

He isn't at his usual level for the whole season up to now.

That could be a valid reason for one or two race, but not for 4 races, especially two of which he targeted.

And his TT has been way below par.

His tt is always below par when he is not in good shape

Out of the sport for good is better than this. I'm not saying dope but if this is all there is just retire.

Either something went wrong with his doping build-up, or he has a hidden injury, or he's sick.

I think he'll have a go until 2014 and if he doesn't win any GT's (hopefully he does) he'll retire.

nah, he will run out his contract (2015) provided the team still exist. EUR4-5M/year? Only an insane man would drop out of the deal like that.

If he's still 'on the sauce' i think he should check the ingredients coz it doesnt seem to be having much effect!

Yup it is sad but it might be the best option. He has a life outside cycling and he has enough money and a nice palmares. Though maybe he could join a pro conti team and target some smaller races if he still enjoys racing. Otherwise there is no point in doing so, those races would add nothing to his palmares.
