is this the so called arms race?[...] revealed that he had convinced Contador to train with more structure and scientifically.

Passion - or at least being hungry:LaFlorecita said:Not coolcycling should be about passion, not about science.
""This winter my preparation was better. [...] I also kept my mouth closed to keep my weight under control, which is harder to do as you get older. I think we can see the results of all that work today."

It's ok to raise doubts/make bad noise on some but not on others.

the second would not be that high after having been pulling for so long prior to it.

Armchaircyclist said:Of course suspicious by Contador today. But lets say like the sky-defenders, look who he beat, what was the name of the guy 6-7 seconds behind, a nobody right ?
Lets not confuse this with facts, like he pulled away from the opposition, catches a break, and pulls the break into the finish, and then destroys them on the last uphill.
What I'd like an answer to though is this: Is he thinner than last year, or does he look the same ? The big question being if Tinkoff found out what the dawg is on, the stuff that makes you thinner and stronger at the same time.. There must be some hardcore fans who can tell if he has lost weight, it seemed so to me, but I can't tell for sure.

LaFlorecita said:Maybe because his W/kg isn't that ridiculous? The figure I've seen for Guardiagrele is 5.3 W/kg. His power output on Lanciano will undoubtedly be higher but I haven't seen any calculations for it. Vetooo said on Twitter he'd calculate it.

jens_attacks said:the duration of the attack...yes...probably even that will be difficult with all the recordings having the ads edited out...
but the full climb?if anyone has watched eitb, sporza, rai, bein sport and the coverage there started at 39-40 km to go(and not 37 like on eurosport) let me know please. no, i don't think contador went faster than robobasso in 2006(6,5 w/kg for 35 minutes) but still it would be fun to compare
brailsford is shiiting his pants...i luv it.

the ‘dark era’ has not ended, it has just morphed into a new guise.
