I wathced a youtube clip of Arcalis from 2009. At the beginning of the climb, Astana swarmed in and had like 6 riders on the front and rode the whole thing on the front.

Walsh and others have said that SKy are so good because of Brailsfrauds tactical genius of riding the whole climb out front.

Maybe that was the reason Astana 09 was so good as well.
