It's unmistakedly Yorkshire, but certainly not a thick Yorkshire accent. Seems like about half of our cyclists are from Yorkshire - Cat, Imogen Wolff who finished 5th, Pidcock, Deignan, Swiftx2, Blythe, Watson and Hollyman who are coming through now, plenty of others, past and present. It's very popular there.

I now what you mean by her sounding like a 40 year old. She's a very confident young girl. She's got the talent and the looks to be a massive star, for sure.

Her chin was visibly red, too. If it was just a nose bleed, Grace Brown would definitely have asked someone to fix her before going to the podium.

Yorkshire has for many years been a hotbed for bike racing.
Pidcock and Fergusons dad's running teams certainly currently helps.

I know Imogen Wolf said in her crash in the race, someone took her front wheel, and fortunately she only suffered minor injuries from this, but she fell into a ravine and felt like she was falling for ages, then had to climb out of the ravine and chase back on to the race.

I know Imogen Wolf said in her crash in the race, someone took her front wheel, and fortunately she only suffered minor injuries from this, but she fell into a ravine and felt like she was falling for ages, then had to climb out of the ravine and chase back on to the race.

Wolff's crash was visible on camera, so I hope assistance would have come to her a lot sooner, if it had been serious, which it fortunately wasn't.
