Do you know anything about what had happened to her face?
I mean, I assume she must have crashed somewhere and not had a shaving accident.
She had a crash in the European championship, I don't know if it's a result of that or it's a new accident. I will find out later if there will be an interview with her in the media.

Triple gold. She will need to work on her celebration though, you draw an 'M' then put a phone to your ear.

Movistar are flying. Apologies to Unzue can be sent via post or email. Enric will be next in the mens road race.

Just look at this;

Which country is Cat from? And her accent/region? She talks like a 40 y/o. Like her voice don’t match her age or something.
It's unmistakedly Yorkshire, but certainly not a thick Yorkshire accent. Seems like about half of our cyclists are from Yorkshire - Cat, Imogen Wolff who finished 5th, Pidcock, Deignan, Swiftx2, Blythe, Watson and Hollyman who are coming through now, plenty of others, past and present. It's very popular there.

I now what you mean by her sounding like a 40 year old. She's a very confident young girl. She's got the talent and the looks to be a massive star, for sure.

Yorkshire has for many years been a hotbed for bike racing.
Pidcock and Fergusons dad's running teams certainly currently helps.

Yes, but still reading the article I get the feeling she was missing for hours before anyone started searching.

How is that possible though ? Surely the Swiss team were looking for her ?

I know Imogen Wolf said in her crash in the race, someone took her front wheel, and fortunately she only suffered minor injuries from this, but she fell into a ravine and felt like she was falling for ages, then had to climb out of the ravine and chase back on to the race.
