Dygert is too sick to start, so she definitely won't be around
Well he isn't exactly a meteorologist.
Such a pity - Dygert must have made her illness worse winning the ITT.

Its Scotland & its the summer holidays. of course its going to rain.
I'm in northern england (sort of) , and as I found out on my morning ride, there is at least one massive rain cloud heading north.
I understand UCI's intention to develop the sport internationally, but what's the point for these athletes from developing countries flying all the way to Scotland, and getting dropped on the first speedbump? Or letting them ride a time trial without a time trial bike? If you do it, make sure they're at least somewhat competitive. This doesn't help them in any way.
But that's what I mean, you don't get to showcase yourself if you ride without proper preparation or equipment. How can you expect them to show themselves in a TT without a TT bike?Being at the championships can be a feat in itself though. Denying the riders that opportunity won't help them either. If they manage to showcase themselves here, it might also be easier for them to get a contract in Europe.
The UCI can't exactly dictate how the national federations spend their money. But I agree that it probably wouldn't cost them that much money to provide them with equipment for the championships. They might even be able to get sponsors to chip in for the exposure. But that's what I mean, you don't get to showcase yourself if you ride without proper preparation or equipment. when riders from Italy, Belgium, & switzerland are getting dropped... its more to do with the course & conditions.I understand UCI's intention to develop the sport internationally, but what's the point for these athletes from developing countries flying all the way to Scotland, and getting dropped on the first speedbump? That was later, when there was actual racing going on. I mean the riders getting dropped almost instantly.when riders from Italy, Belgium, & switzerland are getting dropped... its more to do with the course & conditions.
Yes, and almost ideally sized too. That's a really strong break.
& several top tens in the Tour de france femme avec zwift.
Is this the most stacked breakaway you've ever seen in womens cycling? We've got one world champ, a ronde winner, a LBL winner, a Paris-roubaix winner, & several top tens in the Tour de france femme avec zwift.
Any group that increases Deignan's chances of winning receives my disapproval lolThis is a pretty strong group. Bredewold is a pretty good rider, but even the Dutch shouldn't be too happy about the situation. The Italians are doing the work for now though.
Well you must torn though as it (potentially) also decreases the chances of Wiebes and KopeckyAny group that increases Deignan's chances of winning receives my disapproval lol
I assume it's a jokey reference , Danni Rowe has already used it pre race. Maybe her brain is locked in to it forever. You know... you don't have to write the whole name.![]()
