Lots or riders lost time in the last sector if they faded. Anywaym both today's ITT's were competitive and good viewing.

And how did he win 9 Grand Prix des nations?
That was Anquetil wasn't it?

The French like to tell everyone Grand Prix des nations was the unofficial World Championships but they are just statpadding, composed mostly of French bakers and a couple of Italians. Remco is beating the best of the best in serious international events.

Vine needs aero training wheels. Sorry, but the guy crashes out of half the stage races he rides, he needs to work on his bike handling skills.

Which is why Merckx, Coppi, Maertens, Koblet, Kelly, Ocaña, Gimondi, Baldini and Van Springel all won it prior to the introduction of a TT world title...

I really liked the Bergen TT and that very steep final climb ...but that would not really suit a Ganna or Tarling

I liked all the fuss of would they or wouldn't they change bikes and the carpet section of the course

I'm watching a Swiss stream, have to say Swiss German is harder to understand than Luxembourgish. (Heard Kung's interview in his native tongue.)

And now Bissegger - I don't understand!

It's not that hard if you get used to it, but then again, speaking a Bawarian dialect here in South Tyrol probably helps a lot...
I lived in Bavaria for a few years a long time ago, but still struggle with Swiss German. But you're right, it just takes some time for the ears to adjust.

Isn't it more aero without a powermeter?
He had the unit on his bike but it didn’t calibrate. He did his chain backwards to try it again and that’s why it dropped.
First km’s he was swiping and trying to get his power on screen but didn’t work.

Really good finish by Tobias Foss. He was 3rd fastest from the 3rd checkpoint to the finish behind Ganna and Affini. He was even 0.13s faster than Remco. This took him from 12th to 7th overall going past Rogla, Mcnulty, Campenaerts, Küng and Armirail in the final part.

It was closer than i tought it would be at T3. Probaly Remco had some difficulty pacing due to the faulty power meter, still only the 2 italians were faster than him in the last sector, which brings me to another insane performance by Affini, what a month he is having.

Both Wiggins and Cancellara were better than him. For Martin the WC ITT of course was always the main goal, cause he wasn't much good at anything else.
I mentioned Cancellara as well, who probably is the GOAT of ITTs.

But Martin is still one of the best TT:ers of all time and a part of the conversation. 4 WCs and 50 wins in the discipline means he is definitely up there.

How you laugh at that makes no sense.
