The difference is that Democrats are not hypocritical enough to claim to be against the spending. Seems the party of "no" is the party of "photo-op" when it comes to taking credit for the money that went to their districts. The Democrats actually voted for the money on the big checks in their photo-ops.

Liberman was sooo smart when he was on Gore's ticket but then somehow got dumb.

In fact, everyone on the left has a far superior intellect than those on the right. Plus, they just care so deeply for everyone unlike those dumb partisan bigots on the right who just want to keep all their money and kill the planet.

Here's a list of Franken's accomplishments before he was a Senator. Super impressive stuff. I expect great things from him (look at the youtube video upstream).

Look, I am sorry you support a party that thinks someone with an IQ barely high enough to keep her breathing is fit to be president, but you made your bed. I don't hear anyone around the country saying Frankin should be POTUS. However, there are a lot of people who think Palin represents them...because they have 85 IQ's too, and she does.
