They defeated the Russians because we were funding and arming them. There is a different set of circumstances now. Hunker down long enough and it will sort itself out. Any desperate culture turns to war and religion when there is no stabilizing force in their midst. (look at Scott, Central C Biker, and Ravens)
So true regarding the US paying it's growers to NOT grow anything. Big mistake to go down that path here, but I think it works over there.

So it should be no surprise your side controls the House, Senate and the White House. But your side can't get anything done so you blame it on my side. Kinda funny.

I could be nasty and point out that your observation/realization is more evidence of fewer and fewer producers with more and more takers but I won't do that. I don't want to be percieved as disagreeable.

Now that lots of the emotion has settled and the Obama cheer leaders have run out of air, don't you think the rest of us just want the guy that was chosen to do his job to the best of his ability? The SOTU address had some content. We have had a few years of completely inflexible everything. Now Obama is doing back bends with wars,banks,foreign policy, he has a beer summit over a petty tift, now he is chiming in over email and Google searches. Sure he is trying to get footing but OMG can you imagine if Palin was at the helm!

If they don't pass some finance reform your hopes are sunk. Big companies are going to have ads that say "get Blank out of office and we will create jobs" "Vote for Blank and keep your job".This time it won't just be ads it will be unlimited everything. Think of a place like NY up and down state. Half the people downstate can't vote because they are not citizens or convicted of a felony. Upstate -job is something your trade your 1st born to get or keep. They better use the majority quick
