So gut the whole system country wide..end public schools..hate that any tax dollars are spent. hate all teachers. hate all union people..

Why is it that the Unions have to be bad? Is it because they are so strapped to their benefit packages that they can not fire and hire depending on performance?

At my job you could work for years without a poor performance appraisal and get one and have your job threatened. That is the extreme to the other side of the argument but I would think you get it don't you?

But I do understand human nature. 10 years of higher education for an opportunity of an averge wage earning ability may not be attractive to some of the brightest that otherwise would go into medicine.
