Certainly, Meyer isn't even riding the TT. :D

(but yes, Jack doesn't really have any of the results that the others have)

I predict Talansky to do better than Phinney btw.

Does Talansky even ride? This is really a Phinney course, BTW.

I was talking about Meyer's shiite season post TDU in general, not this ITT, which he ain't in.
Same for Bobridge.
When was the last time either earned more than 5 CQ points?
Yeah, good track riders. And good at the Aussie nationals. But very pedestrian in everything else.

Well he's Australian right? Moreover, did you think Cobo would win La Vuelta?

What place do you reckon Castroviejo would end up? He has a chance of top 10, methinks...

There is about 200 metres of false flat and then >6% ramp 300 metres long. Sure, on average it's 4%.

Not true.
I rode the climb :)p) yesterday, and looked on my bike computer. 500 m from where the ramp begins to the sign indicating the finish - and it's 4%, never 6% (that's Søllerød Slotsbakke, but only on a short part). Another 300 m or so from the last turn until the road goes uphill, practically flat (1% at most).

Hmm... from seeing how they've done so far we might have to impose gloating restrictions on ACF. :p

BTW, did you notice who took the silver at the U23 ITT today? Which... I'm afraid could be the only home-medal.

I have had a bit of a gloat in the other thread about how awesome our cyclists are but I also fear that we may not do that much in the rest of the championships.

As a cadel fan and ll crap you had to put up with you have a right to gloat. Atleast use wont win the men's TT. If you do that then u can really gloat.

asif.

Im tipping the womens team to win gold in the RR and U23 men to win their RR. Also we still have a very strong teams for the rest.

Martin has beaten Cancellara in the Tour and the Vuelta. Not sure how Cancellara is preparing for the Worlds. But I don't want to see Tony Martin win it. The favorites for the TT and the road race are both Tony Martin and Mark Cavendish, two riders that I don't like. It's going to be such a drag for me to see them both win.

I want to see Martin win the TT and Cancellara win the RR. If Canc wins the RR though then he probably also won the TT.

You think? I certainly hope so!

The U23 team is very strong. Although they don't really have someone who can take necessarily gold at the finish they can make the race very hard, send people off the front in every move. If it comes back together I'd probably have Hepburn as the man to sprint it and I think he has the power on this sort of finish.

Same goes for the Juniors, if it's a hard race Linfield would have to be a favourite.

I'm still wondering why Goss is so overhyped for Copenhagen...he has shown no glimpses of form in the last few months, and he's being talked like favourite n.1/2?

Same goes for Cancellara actually, but an exception can be made when dealing with Spartacus...still, I can't see how he can get in his top shape to beat Martin...

He wants to make Martin feel safe. Make him feel good about his chances. That's what I'd do.
