that freire on the wheel of boonen who is on the wheel of roelandts . . . but nice try

He said Phil's wheel, not Boonen's wheel. Boonen was near the front of the peloton on the Cauberg till the moment Phil attacked.

Phil was quite a few rows behind at the beginning of the Cauberg. Yet he somehow won. While some of you are using the bad placement argument as a reason why Valverde didn't win.

now saxo for TDF win also please

It would be good if Contador is on form, but both on top shape Froome wins imo, Contador won La Vuelta on his real talent , but it's a no no for TDF 2013 unless Froome crashes.

Contador fans don't bash me you no im talking sense, id love to see AC, AS and CF on top shape but CF is too strong its his time.:D

The reason why CF is going to win the tour relatively easily is because Alberto is far, far from top form. With both on top form Alberto wins. Top form is for example Tdf 2009 when he got the VAM record

GVA has raced too much already this season.

GVA sprinted for 2nd I believe from that photo, but the full results aren't in yet.

Perhaps he was the card to play if Gilbert couldn't get away, or he and Gilbert would just do their own finales.

You'd think GVA should've been a domestique here.

Nordhaug seems to have found some form, but where was the rest of Blanco? There were a couple of riders near the front, dropped on Cauberg?

Mollema finished in the front group (between 11 and 15), Tanner tried something, the rest aren't good enough.

I agree with the post earlier saying GVA has had one too many races now. He's been in superb form but perhaps just there today in a free role to see what he had left in the tank and help Gilbert wherever he could?
