We were over 200 all day yesterday! Today was in the 180, but dropped into the 170s now. Its 95 degrees too so its not much fun outside.

Its crazy though, if I look straight up, it clear blue sky, but there is a wall of smoke surrounding us, kind of like standing in a fish bowl and looking up (I assume).

If air off the ocean is strong enough for heavy Eastern direction.. Exactly the same lots of blue sky and smoke is just stuck at the mountains..We have clear, pleasant 75..pollution is tons of tourists, including 2 cruise ships for Labor Day weekend holiday!!

It looks like summer's back has been broken in Eugene - today it's raining, and for the rest of the week it's not supposed to go above 76F. Good! We still have some wildfires in the area (some *** apparently started a small one with a cigarette the other day  ), so the cooler the temps and the more precipitation the better!

Ensenada had 3 days unseasonably warm middle to high 80 strong sunlight!! Using spray sunblock, says it's a sports blend, effective even for exercise, perspiration proof, yeah right my arms look like bacon. Drinking 2, 3 bottles more per ride..
Today we are back to 73(23c) and pleasant. After watching TV last night scared that people are eating dogs and cats!! All of mine are plump and likely delicious!!
Roubaix easy to catch w 3 legs!!

Sorry, I know that a fire isn't weather, but as we have seen fires can really mess with our air (ride) quality. We have a new fire in the foothills where I ride everyday, but thankfully (thank you air currents) our AQI is in the 40s. It was over 200 when we got smoke from the Cali fires...crazy that a fire thousands of miles away affected us more than one directly on top of us. There was sage ash falling at my house when I left for work yesterday though.

Nothing wrong with wildfire updates in your area, while not technically weather air pollution from wildfires can cause all kinds of havoc, especially if you're active outdoors. (Ability to engage in outdoor activities heavily depends on the weather, air quality obviously also plays an important part. So I count air quality as part of the weather forecast, at any rate.)
