While I would love to jump in and say "I cannot wait for that to happen." There is far to much time between then and now for me to begin to gloat. There are numerous things that could derail any showdown between any of the main protagonists. I do hope that is the eventual outcome, but July is a long way away.

I almost agree with you. Anyone who glories in anothers misfortune or loss in real life is as low as it gets. However we are not speaking of real life here we are speaking of pro sports, entertainment if you will. All sports fans who root for any team are also pulling for their rivals to lose. I'm a Yankees fan, the fact that 1/2 the world hates the Yankees doe not bother me at all. Infact I love it, it means we've gotten to them. All Laker fans hate the Celtics and viceversa.
So were we not discussing a game here I would agree. Problem is you don't see LA as another jock, you seem to regard him as some sort of messiah. Maybe if the stuff discussed on this forum bothers you this much you should stay away from it. Your Lance will still be ok no matter whether you are here to defend him or not.

He intimated in a previous interview that he thought the team didn't ride aggressive enough for him at times (i.e., the JB control factor), so I'm looking forward to seeing him unleashed next year. Frankly, I think this is the one thing that folks overlook about this year's TdF. Lance never really went head to head with AC.
