Skjelmose is such a good rider. Wouldn't be surprised if he wins the TT also. Never misses a split, can climb, can TT... if he can do this 3 weeks long...

Vauquelin also as expected really good. Probably the most interesting rider at Arkea this year.

EDIT: I see that Bissegger is here, so he might have fresher legs for the TT. Knowing him, he'll find a way to crash tho

It appears to have been pretty windy in the Cofidis bus.

I do wanna see him climb against some of the worlds best tbh.

He hasn't really done an elite tier stage race since the Giro, which is quite a long way back for a rider his age.

Looking very much forward to what Tarling can do today. Distance should suit him, climb is not ideal but he can manage himself pretty well on the slopes.
I’d imagine the climb would make it difficult for him to have a top result but could definitely top 10

Powless only 4 seconds back. This could be exciting.
I had big hopes that Powless can win the overall yesterday until I checked that Skjelmose had been 1st and 2nd in his 2 last ITTs (not counting prologues).

Yeah normally Skjelmose is the better Time trialist and he's in form so I doubt Powless can win the overall.

Is there an intermediate at the bottom of the climb?
I did my own time check...Pedersen had 12.14 by some kind of metal mast stucture just after turning right.
Maybe they'll show tarling there as well.

edit: ok, I see now, it's not exactly at the foot of the climb, but maybe 20-30 seconds into it.

Darn.
Didn't see that coming Powless (or rather, didn't see Skjelmose underperforming here)
Wasn't even that poor a TT given that he came ninth. Would be nice if there was a time check before the climb to see where the difference was made but alas.

Wouldn't say he did poorly, no, but I was pretty confident he'd be somewhere in the top 5 before the stage started.

in the past years there always was. Maybe it'll be listed in the full results later on at least:
