Perhaps some commenters here should consider watching something like the Madison or Basketball instead. If you can't enjoy the beauty and slow burn of a race like this, perhaps road cycling isn't the sport for you.

It's for a fact more boring then AGR and Fleche this year, i dont get whats som bad about pointing that out?
It's not a fact, it's an opinion. LBL for me is always one of the great races, it's the most pure cycling race in the world. 270km, 4000m of climbing, all the best riders in the world there and on top form. No gimmicks like cobbles or gravel making the race a lottery. Even if none of the favourites attack until late on, it's still a beautiful race. In the same way a World Cup final finishing 0-0 is still a great event.
Again, you should watch on YouTube how the race used to be won in the 80-90-00s and how it has been won in the past few years

Dont get me wrong i like LBL, but for me it has lacked the action i was used to seeing sone years back, but who knows there might be some attacks in the last 20k

You're missing the point. I enjoyed Liege in the 80s and 90s, and I enjoy it now. It's the most pure race in cycling. Whether it's chaotic from far out, or a slow build to the line, I find it a fantastic race to watch. If anything, the slow build up, the 260km of leg breaking climbs, the jostling for position, followed by the big showdown in the final kilometres, is the more entertaining option imo.

Aren't we just reacting because we care about the future of the race? We all want a route change because we care so much about this beautiful Monument in the Ardennes. I dislike the current finish, the misuse of some of the historical climbs, the lack of narrow roads and space between the hills. I CARE about Liege. ;)

At least if a WC final finishes 0-0, you can see that the defenders and goalkeepers stopped their opponent's attacks. This is like if neither team ever passed the ball into the 18 yard box because they're "saving their striker's legs for the last 5 minutes."

GVA and Sagan needs to show up next year.

If GVA had targeted this earlier in his career, I think he would have two monuments on his palmarès - Liege and Roubaix.

He did try. He led BMC here before he did anything noteworthy on cobbles. His best was 7th.
Yeah. But if Gilbert wasn't the captain and if he had waited for the finish, I'm sure he could have been on the podium at least. He even skipped it in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and before that he was dom for Gilbert.

He just preferred the cobbles because they are greater races.
