Itt's are never the best spectacles for TV, but it's tough viewing when it rains,

The heavy rain definitely made the riders much slower, so the ones that gambled yesterday were 100% right.

Seems Tony Martin again showed he is rather limited as a time trialist or did he ride when it poured?

Exactly, he isn't a good technician by any means and he pretty bad on technical courses, so I wondered how wet it was when he crashed.

Weirdly, he is a pretty good descender though. I think the main reason why he's bad in technical courses is rather the contstant breaking and accelerating which prevents him to get into a good rhythm. He doesn't like that at all.

So who are the relevant GC guys here?
Dumoulin
Boom +5
Lampaert +7
Sagan +10
Wellens +12
Terpstra +20
Gilbert +21
GVA +23
Keukeleire +27
Stuyven +28
Sep +28
Bakelants +34
Naessen +37

Am I missing somebody? Also I am curious how Bodnar and Kung will stand. Kung especially because Bodnar probably will be Sagan´s domestic. Imho this bike race is between Dumo, Sagan, GVA and Wellens now but only Sagan can collect some seconds before last 3 stages. But some strong long range attack in last two stages can change everything and somebody outside of this four can win.

I would not be surprised if we see Wout van Aert (+16) getting involved.

What about Van Baarle?

Boom will fail on the Ardennes stage. Guy has been riding off his talent, which he has a lot, for years now.
