A very odd finish too, with the peloton failing to close a 25 second gap, over a number of kms, only for Petacchi to take second.........

On to Pampeago and the GC decider.

The lack of any live coverage absolutely sucks. Liquigas has moved to the front and the break's advantage is down to 2'15". 28 KM to the finish.

I'm posting updates as they come now.

Pirazzi has attacked out of the break and is riding solo with Le Flock, Clarke and Noe in his wake. No distance to summit given but less than 7KM.

3KM to the summit. Clarke and Noe leading with Pirazzo (5"), Rujano (36") and gruppo (45"). No idea who is in the gruppo.

Basso and Vino at the head of the gruppo. Ricco and Scarponi are there also.
