Hard to see how Cancellara can get away and stay away. Course isn't selective enough. Likewise, the finish isn't selective enough for Gilbert. Hushovd might do something. But since almost all of us agree it'll end in a bunch sprint, it looks like Cav all the way, unless he or his team just totally screw up (which is a possibility).

It's 1:45 AM here and I haven't even been to bed yet. I think I'm going to get some shuteye and join the race in about four hours.

marathon world record?wow

Good thing we know the only sport with doping is cycling, eh? Those Africans all run on clean air, mineral water, the love of Jesus and altitude training.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be a reasonably big sprint (60-80 riders). Greipel, Bennati, Farrar, one of the Norwegians will be up there. If Bronzini and Teutenberg were 1st and 3rd yesterday, it's not too hard for a sprinter. Thus a Brit having a chance + a dose of jingoism means Cav ftw. Off for a ride now, back for the last hour or two.

damn wasnt logged into CN when he came on - I think that is the most exciting thing to look for for the next few hours
That + those ugly motos (the red one + the one with a picture of a baby on his windshield) will be the things we see the most.
